factorio

very fun game, I've been playing it literally since I was 10

It seems simple at first, but there's near endless amount of complexity if you know what to do; you can basically do whatever, I've made cities, art, working factories, even stuff like a working fractal generator (put id:3031124 in ingame search, if you wanna see that)

it's detailed enough that I've been straight up reading *the source code* to make my builds better

honestly crazy what they managed to do with this, the water works great (it's even interactable in some cases, for instance bombs make big splashes, and underwater they make explosion bubbles that suck things in as they collapse).

In addition, the new blocks are quickly becoming some of my favorites, especially the harpoon which is an actually reusable ranged weapon (not to mention its use as a grappling hook), the screw block which not only acts as propulsion, but even works as a worm gear, and the rounded wood block which is fairly self explanatory.

The new campaign it adds is a bit short, but it was fun, and it also adds a water option to the level editor. (as well as a new sandbox which has a big ship you can sink)

Speaking of the level editor, it adds some cool stuff to it, like gears that can actually swivel around and mesh, a 'water zone' object that lets you control the height of the water in an area, a big sand dune (which is kinda massive, without scaling it's like ~80m tall and about ~160m across) and a bunch of decorative stuff like seaweed (which has a whopping 11 variant types), coral, rock formations, and some very scuffed (in a good way) looking trees.

A super cute game (the artstyle is great), there isn't a ton of content (i 100%d in like maybe an hour) but the characters are super cute, and the gore is cutesy but also ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up in its own way
i'd recommend the trilogy to anyone who like cute but also ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up stuff

good game, spent 3 days coding so i could load furry ♥♥♥♥ in the form of maps for this game

Mostly have joke/copypasta reviews on this account but this is genuinely a good game, the gameplay loop balances between the cult management and the crusades pretty well to where i couldn't say that any one aspect was predominant over the other, the visuals and music are great, the combat feels delightfully punchy, and it's addicting as hell

my one complaint about this game is that it's *short*, i beat the storyline (sans the new update stuff) in a couple days
