Deleted multiple paragraphs of a somewhat detailed review only to say that this game has become rather mundane. The quality only slopes downwards, more and more. If you enjoy this game, good on you, glad you are fine with playing something you like. Me personally, I can't stomach playing this game much anymore. I get on and wait for 5 minutes to get to the character select screen, check the Eververse and Ada-1 for new stuff, finally doing the 15 minutes of story for the week and quitting for the rest of the week. After 3,750+ hours, I think I have the right to say this game is only careening into the ground; Getting rid of people to keep the upper management pockets lined with cash, and ruining the game that has been a part of people's lives for many years. I do thank Destiny 2 for letting me find good friends, that friendship with them extending past the game itself and allowing bonds to be formed for many years, extending even to this day. The game itself, however, feels like it will not recover. Any people who say the game will be fine are coping and are oblivious to the downward slope of quality over the years. I don't even know if I want to refund The Final Shape or not. At this point I feel as if I should just close this chapter of life and move on from Destiny. Hell, I find going to work to be more entertaining than this game at this point. I only wish the best for the development team and that the game at least ends this story with a solid conclusion before the game fizzles out to the corporate darkness that reigns over it.
