I wonderful marriage between the hero-centric gameplay style of Warhammer 1 and 2, and the diplomatic historical gameplay of the previous TW generations.

Fantastic Remake of a fantastic game. Taking a game that already proved it's own, giving it a welcomed makeover with some new additions in gameplay and content, delivering an overall well worth-it package.

An addition to the rebooted Hitman story that is very much welcomed. Making some small but impactful additions to gameplay, and including the maps of the original title (if you own the Complete First Season or GOTY Edition) makes this a very great package.

Absolutely addicting gameplay.

Coming from someone who had never played a Total War game, or a Warhammer title, this game has captured my attention now, sitting at 190 hours. Thrilling player controlled battles, as well as campaign map intrigue and espionage comes together well, wrapped nicely in the deep lore of the Warhammer universe, allowing for completely unique experiences depending on if you're playing as the Dark Elves, or the Skaven, or the Lizardmen for example.

11/29/19 - I'm now over 550 hours+ into this game. CA continues releasing continue and updates and I just cannot put the game down.

So many options given to the player in this game. Thumbs up!

Edit - I think I wrote the initial thoughts at around 20-25 hours in during late Early Access. Even at that time the game had so many systems and mechanics that worked together, and worked in some way even when you tried your damnedest to break them.

It's been 13 days since the full release and I'm sitting at just about 100 hours of the game played. My character is an Elven Conjurer. I can eat body parts of some of the deceased to gain memories that might give me clues in quests, or just amusing (or often times discouraging) views into their life and or death, and even some skills and spells some times. I can conjure an Incarnate Champion who's elemental buffs/resistances are dependant on what surface I conjure him on (Blood, Poison, Fire, Water, Ice, Electricity, Oil)

I can sprout wings to quickly manouver the battlefield, or Medusa snakes from my head to petrify my enemies.

The game caters to how you want to play both in combat and outside of combat. I hesitate to say a concrete number, but so many of the combat encounters in the game can be avoided or talked out of. Likewise, you can end up talking yourself INTO combat often if you don't watch what you say and who you say it to.

I've yet to try Co-Op, PvP, or the included Game Master (DnD like experience) modes, but hope to soon.
