All AH had to do is put the Killzone content into a warbond and all would be fine, they couldve even made the warbond more expensive than the regular ones but no gotta FOMO.
I dont know who made the decision to put it into the superstore for such a comically large price for the content but they need to wear a clown nose for a year.

AH/Sony recovered most of the player base and immediately slapped them again, I would be impressed if it wasnt a pattern at this point.

You want a coop game where you smash bug heads in? Sometimes fight robots? And you can unlock 95% of the content in the game without grinding for hours without having a lick of FOMO?
Go play Deep Rock Galactic.

AH and Sony will never change, they will keep pushing the line until they kill the game.
Weve already seen that with PSN. The balancing issues they had is just another can of worms.

If you really want to play this game, just get it for the cheapest possible price you can, they cant sell a €40 game and expect people to pay for F2P game levels of monetization.

Update: They gave away the rest of the Killzone content for free, this review will stay negative because AH/Sony have a tendency to do the dumbest move possible every time they do something good, so buy at your own risk and with the expectations that they will keep pissing off the playerbase and then backtrack
If they manage to do 1 year without doing something stupid it might warrant a positive review, until then, fun game idiotic management

Im sorry, 7 years for a HL2 level recreated and modified for UE5?
Barely 10 minutes of gameplay and issues galore.

Its supposed to be a fan made continuation of the original HL2 story yet the game feels nothing like a Half Life game.
The physics are jank, the movement has weird issues of getting stuck on the smallest of props (I assume I get stuck on props since there is no sound effect for props colliding with the map) and the ragdolls feel nothing like the Source engine ones and glitch out often, the weapon animations feel stiff and theres no slight movement of the weapon when moving the camera around so it feels like the weapons were glued to you.

The only thing I can praise is how nice the map and models look like. The HL Alyx headcrab ragdoll after jumping is an interesting decision, it doesnt really change much for a non-VR game but its funny to see nonetheless.
SInce its UE5 of course the performance is dogwater for non beefy PCs.

I really hope this is just an old demo from 5 years ago the devs found on an old hard drive that they decided to use as a teaser and the full game(mod???) will release soon(TM).
Otherwise I dont see a bright future or a future at all for this game(mod???), depending on how the devs decide to take further actions/developments. Hopefully it doesnt end up as another abandoned project.
