Well there are a few things that still need improving, but those are to specific to include in this review.

Overall the game is already in a great position and i think its quite likely that GGG will turn this into a hit before its even officially released, i have faith in their ability to adjust the few misssteps in a timely fashion.

(Played on GOG not steam) So here is why you should play this game!
Its an amazing rpg, with an enticing story, beautifully cruel world, interesting characters, good fluid combat mechanics and a decent open world too. When i first started playing on release i disappeared for about 2 weeks completely spellbound, wanting to see more of it. I already loved the second part, but the third one was a real crowning of Geralts adventures.

Fun story experience with decent combat and platforming elements, i really enjoyed it.

Its addicting for no good reason, to see numbers go up. That said i dont think idle games are something anyone should strive to play. I feel like the time was not very well spent, even if i enjoyed some of it.

The game itself is still a rather buggy mess, even after all these years, but that does not really matter! The main reason Skyrim is such a game is that it is so well modable and has a really active community. The base game without this community is pretty decent for its time, but not all that impressive.

If you like Arma more than CoD and Fortnite feels "childish" to you, then this might be the alternative you are looking for. I would describe it as a fast paced tactical shooter experience, without unnecessary clutter and comic graphics that make me hate fortnite.

I think the game is fine, but personally i dont like a lot of the design decisions that the game took over the years since the DotA mod days. The only reason i would still consider giving it another shot currently is the fact that my "go-to" MOBA league has forced changes i dont want to support any longer.

I want to preface this by saying, i think the game is best suited for ARPG enthusiasts. Its pretty complex and has a old-school sort of feeling which might put a lot of newer players off. It is however a well rounded character-building experience with plenty of content to experience and hordes of monsters to slay.

I tried to play it, but it just felt too dated for me to really get into it. I think the biggest appeal is a nostalgic one for those that enjoyed the game when it originally released.

Its essentially a game centered around assassinating mordor's generals. The combat system is enjoyable but nothing crazy impressive imo. If you are looking for a mild power fantasy and crushing mordor then this might be the game for you.
