The mine constructor is pretty cool. But the alt-fire is pretty ♥♥♥♥. Be sure to shoot a charged mine at a teammate that is getting hit by big zed to top up their health. You can either make rows of mines or shoot the mines into a crowd (whichever works better). Also learn the proximity at which the mines are triggered and damage that the mines do to medium zeds. It is best for "deposit healing" and clearing small zeds. I liked using it with an upgraded medic smg.
