Look at this man and see if you feel the despair and misery in his eyes. If your answer is synonymous with the word "Yes", feel free to take a glimpse in the day-to-day reality of "The war to end all wars" in its late years.

Dent helmets, unkempt uniforms and commemorative pieces of metal symbolizing your unquestionable bravery and valor are also included in this pack.

Heavily outdated and broken mess of a game!

Memoir 44' Online is a game based on the real-life board game where you command your troops in various battles of Second World War. Initially starting with battles on the Western Front/D-Day and afterwards, board game quickly grew with expansions, incl. Pacific, Eastern and Mediterranean/North African frontlines, which all are included in the Online version. The objective is simple, gaining required amount of Victory Medals(either by annihilating enemy troops and/or capturing objectives that grant you the same medals) will ensure your victory over your opponent. Game has very simple rules and the online version does handle its job well. However there are some issues that need to be addressed:

1) Game's luck/throwing dice system is a complete joke. It is no surprise that the outcome of battles mostly depend on your ability to score hits by throwing dice rather than having actual tactical and strategic skills, but that's wasn't as much frustrating in playing board game rather than the Online/Steam version. I can't begin to tell that how it is horrendous that 99% of the battles seem to be "rigged" by algorithm which makes you get "misses" when it's very inconvenient and favoring other side who always gets "direct hits" and simply erasing your troops from existence altogether.

"Skill always beats luck" you say? - sorry fam, not in this game

2) Game has atrocious "pay2play" system - You heard that right, apart from 2 free scenarios(Pegasus Bridge and Juno Beach), the other scenarios cost 2/3 Golden Ingots each. When you download game for the first time, you are granted 50 Golden Ingots, but when you are out of those? Be a good servant and buy additional gold ingots for 5 dollars or more(200$), if you feel generous that is. Despite having many scenarios that are locked by the paywall, it is highly not recommended to pay for those. At least make players to pay for the game once just so everyone could enjoy it.

3)Game's playerbase is non-existent - On Sunday nights, EU timezone, you will probably get 20 players at best, but the game has little to no players playing it. And the game hasn't been updated since 2011 so that's a bummer. If you actually manage to find some people playing it, most of them are tryhards who will "hunt" newcomers down just so they can rob them of the fun and gain quick and easy victories for their rank promotions(yes, game has rank promotions, starting from Cadet and up to and incl. General of the Army)

4) Some unobtainable achievements - more of a nitpick than actual reason, but for achievement hunters, some of them were obtainable only when beta-testing/paying money for the game back in 2011 and they are locked ever since.

For pros, i can only count the fun gameplay(except the implemented dice algorithm which ruins it all), amazing soundtrack for each of the nations, the ability to rank up and having neat military passports and insignias for each main participants of the war(starting from Soviet and up to Japanese and Italian ones) on your in-game profile and etc. Also game can run on any PC, regardless of its configurations. You can even play it on your local toaster if that suits your fancy.

Overall, you may spend a few matches solo with bots or with real players, and if you WANT to pay for the in-game currency afterwards, just try to bring a friend who will do the same and play with them online. Otherwise, try to get the real-life board game instead of this, it is more fun anyways :)

Even the poster of this looks like the Bohemian Rhapsody's poster from Queen:

PAYDAY: The Heist
is the 4 player co-op FPS(first-person shooter) video game developed by Overkill Software . This game is all about robberies and heists, given by the mysterious individual Bain, handler of the PAYDAY Crew. And obviously, you're playing as the 4 robbers, calling themselves the PAYDAY Crew:

Dallas - Mastermind of the crew, leader, wears a smiling clown mask with the American pattern. He is also depicted as the "Assault" class in the game.
Hoxton - An englishman and the "Sharpshooter" of the crew.He wears a pink and white clown mask.
Chains - An afro-american ex-marine, wears a white, blue, and pink mask. He is depicted as the "Support" class in the game.
Wolf - A swedish "Technician", demolition man, and a psychopath of the crew.Wears the white and red demon mask.

Each character has its own background, morals and a sense of humor. They're bad guys, but they're badass.

So, there are two mods for this game, singleplayer(just you and 3 bots, useful if you want to learn maps) and multiplayer(with randoms or friends). Before the each heist, you and your teammates must "pre-plan" it(gear up your weapons, select upgrades and crew bonuses and etc.).If you've ever played Left 4 Dead before, you'll catch on quickly, if not, don't be shy, ask your teammates about something you don't know. And i should add, this game is very hardcore on high diffuculities, so "hold on to your butt"!

And soundtrack is awesome!!!!!!

Overall, if you and your friends want to have some fun, this game is definetly for you.I'm already tired to speak about it - heists, charachters, soundtrack, weapons , gagdets...bla...bla..bla ------> 9/10

P.S. Buy this game and its DLC on sale, it is a little bit overpriced, but i can assure you, its definetly worth your time and money!
