I love the game. But the steam release is a disaster.
They took already disasterous GOG release and make it even worse.
No shortcut to configuration file, no shortcut to cryptic passage missions and CD audio have been ripped in the good traditions of GOG. WHY THE HELL? Dosbox can play them perfectly!

All this made me do downlaod disk image and install it using DOSBOX outside of steam and then copy my good "release" instead steam one.

Do not buy this steam or GOG release, especialy if you are not familiar with DOS and DOSBOX configuring.

This is one of the best plots i ever seen. This should be made into the movie.
Damn "Mind games 2".

Love the different moral choices you are facing during the game.
This is not some hollywood heroic Call od Duty plot. War is cruel and blind.


I dont see any problesm that most nagative reviews refer too. Maybe it wa fixed? Or maybe they should make own game.

Have not tried MP yet.

Very good improvement upon original Unreal.
Good plot that feel like Mass Effect.
Now we have better plot instead "almost no plot" like many first 3D shooters had.

Nevermind kids who are complaining about the game can't run in win10 or old coots who like storyless and fast killing they had in Unreal 1.

Minuses - slow runing speed of your character, long loading times, short campaign and dead multiplayer (yes it have MP)

But wait for the sale.
$8 for old game is too much.

SP campaign is short.
Texture quality is low even on maximum setting, probbaly its a port from a console.
Subtitles text is damn small, its a PC not a HUGE TV for console.
Widescreen cutscenes are annoying

Why developers did not hire at least one russian speaking advisor. The russian writings you can find in SP campaign are disaster. And they screwed up with plane name - it is AN-124 "Ruslan" but they call it AN-225 "Mriya"

MP is kinda boring and is same as in all latest BFs and CODs - you spawn run through hell and lot of action, kill someone and get killed. No fun at all. I still prefer playing BF2 and 1942 multiplayer.

Many russian servers ban players from countries that do not support russia.

Vientnam is MP only but costs same as main game.

Good things is that you can kill some russian fascists.
Environment destruction is also good.

The gameplay is nice and fun.

But the game seems like not beta but alfa now.

- Bad interface.
- No options for setting up graphics or controls.
- Graphics is not really good but laggy.
- In game graphics have noting to do with graphics shown in video and screenshots
- Crashes often.

Maybe later after game stop being early access i will chnage the review.
Battlefiled 1942 is better

Very good aplication.
But the Steam version is buggy like hell!
It takes up to 5 tries to launch BETA it without infinite error messages or hanging.
Stable release dont even start giving "Failed to start game"!
Studio missing lot of good stuff that were in original game maker like creating objects on the run, midi music, etc.
Now because this is cross platform all this things are missing.
The price is too big.

Can't recommend it for buying.

Good game.
Nice puzzles. Exept few that makes no sense (like the one with eye) and very hard to figure ( like the one with the radio).
But the problem is that game is too short. In the movie (Fobos - club of fear) the bunker was much larger.

I ussualy dont play indie games because mostly they are overprised hipster ♥♥♥♥.
But this one is really good.
You can complete game in different ways.
Be prepared for lot of text and the game is like audio visual novel.
The game itself is depressing and you feel like game's character.

But its kinda overprised (wait till its on sale) and not optimized (framerate is is jumping around 25-35 FPS, but its not afecting gameplay).

Waiting for the release of DownFall as it have connections to this game.

This game has amazing OST

I like to listen to it while doing other things

Not as good as first Red Faction but still not a bad game.
Nice level design with lot of stuff can be destroyed.

Good:
- You can destroy lot in this game.
- You can use many vehicles.
- 4 different endings.


Bad:
- This is port from console, so graphics are lower than it should be.
- Short campaign
- No multiplayer
