I haven't played a lot of Project Maze but I see potential in this game. I am recommending this game in advance with hope that developers will put some work into it.

PROS

Mazes. Well you would expect 2 minutes mazes in such a game, I have news for You, it is not. It felt like I was running forever stuck in endless space.
Soundtrack. Music in Project Maze added to that lost feeling and helped to immerse myself.

NEUTRAL

Visuals. Initially I put graphics in pros, but after second thought I moved it here. I can't say anything about visuals or graphics because they are good. What I want is more variety. Yes current design is hypnotizing and confusing making you feel lost easily, however I want different designs, different patterns, different walls, same level over and over can become boring easily.

CONS

Modes. There are only few modes and they are not balanced right now. Ones containing enemies are just too hard because of the way enemies behave. They just chase till you are dead and in maze You need to go back often and You end up just in front enemy.
Multiplayer. I can't say anything bad about multiplayer because there isn't any and Project Maze needs it. Some competetive speedrun through maze against friend would be nice.

CONCLUSION

[■■■■■■□□□□] Decent with bright future if developers will put more effort.

I am recommending Project Maze in advance because I believe that developers can get there. Current state doesn't offer much but it can be fixed with few patches and it doesn't cost much.

Mad Frost is very simple platformer with few puzzles and filled with memes. Yes there are plenty of memes based content (you will find stormtroopers, Uganda Knuckles and few other ridiculous references). However gameplay is poor, frustrating and just weird.

PROS

Art. Yes this game has nice art throughout all game. It is sketch type visuals, everything looks nice. There are some copy paste work in some levels but I think everything was made good enough.

NEUTRAL

Soundtrack. It is not bad in Mad Frost, however after few minutes it becomes boring.
Story. Mad Frost barely has any story, but it is hilarious. Story doesn't make sense at all but makes you smile (mostly ending bit).

CONS

Controls. You need just few buttons and mouse in this game, but developers got it wrong somewhere. Carrying items with mouse just bad and unresponsive. All game doesn't feel right.
Gameplay. Frustrating. That would be single word I would use to describe Mad Frost gameplay. Till you get to last boss it is just boring and once you reach boss you will think, oh something new but after few retries your desire will be just finish it. And no, you can't turn of game because THERE IS NO SAVE.
Language. I used english language and for the first part everything looked fine. Few posters were in russian but it didn't matter too much. Then I reached 3 part I think and language just changed to russian (I don't know if bug or lack of translation) and I couldn't just change language to english again because you need to quit and THERE IS NO SAVE.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.

This game could be much better, I wish it was better. With that sketch type visuals I thought I am here for a good treat but I was wrong. Everything else failed. I do not recommend this game and I suggest you to go back to steam store and look for something more interesting.

Ather: Chapter 1 is horror game based on jump scares. Game is very short, without story, no dialogue and just plain. I would like to say anything good about this game, however I can't think of anything.

PROS

Nothing... I couldn't find any Pros in this game.

NEUTRAL

Atmosphere. Sometimes it felt intense and spooky, however it wasn't lasting enough. Most of the time it is just another horror game.
Sounds. This comes same as atmosphere... sometimes sounds felt spooky and real, but most of the time it was something wrong. It was just lacking.
Visuals. Overall visuals was very nice, can't tell anything bad about graphics. However there is but... I don't know if it was because of my configuration (normal graphics) or what reason behind that, but flashlight was horrible. Lots of surfaces do not reflected my flashlight making everything too dark and hard to see all spooky details.

CONS

Story. There is no story at all in this game. It is horror game, to make spooky atmosphere you need to give something, but there was nothing at all, no reason, no background. Slender has more to offer from 8 pages that this game.
Gameplay. There is nothing interesting in Ather. All you do is pick few keys and open doors just to progress, no challenges, no puzzles.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.
[■□□□□□□□□□] Empty squares for empty game.

Game has nothing to offer. It offers around 30 minutes gameplay and it feels that you wasted all that time. I would suggest developers to put more effort in story and gameplay, don't go only for few jump scares. Go and play RE7 demo which is longer, more interesting and more atmospheric for free.

Itineris is simple get through maze game. I wanted this game to be at least decent with its simple idea and gameplay but it really failed. All mazes are very short and can be done without even making wrong turn. Probably anyone can draw better mazes and put more effort than these developers.

PROS

Idea. When I saw this game I instnatly put it to my wishlist because I like puzzles and similar things. Mazes can be fun, difficult and interactive but this game failed everywhere.

NEUTRAL

Soundtrack. I like classical and instrumental music and developers gave me that. Soundtrack is best thing in this game and still it is in neutral section because sometimes I felt that music goes too loud. It is hard to explain but it wasn't like really good soundtrack.

CONS

Mazes. Is it hard to make good maze? Yes. Is it hard to make decent maze? No. Is it really hard to make 50 easy mazes? No. Developers went on easiest way and just made bunch of easy mazes instead of putting more effort in less mazes of higher quality. Average time you take on one maze is about 10s. It takes mem ore time to write sentence in this review than complete one maze in this game and total time I take for this review is more than it took me to complete all mazes so just think about it, how bad can it be.

Visuals. Usually graphics and visuals shouldn't be reviewed in small indie games, but here all game feels dead. I don't know how to explain that feeling, but everything in this game so solid (like rock) that "command prompt" feels better with its blinking cursor.

Controls. I don't know how developers pulled that off but they failed everywhere. Even controls in a maze game where you use only arrow are bad!!!!!!!! I got stuck near walls lots of times and overall it just didn't felt like I am controling that white dot but instead I push it somehow.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.
[■□□□□□□□□□] Bad, really bad.

All games felt awkward and uncomfortable to play with its visuals and controls. Itineris developers put no effort in making this game and probably they did this just to earn some easy cash from you. Even if you get this game for free I do not suggest you playing it because thats not right. I wonder how steam allows developers to scam people with games like this one. Anyone could make such a game within 1-2 weeks starting without any knowledge. I do not recommend this game in any circumstances.

Project of the Developer isn't good in any way. Poor optimizations, bad gameplay and everything in game feels wrong. I played it for a bit and just couldn't handle anymore... I got to level with 8 zombies and 30s and just couldn't kill them because 1st I had low fps (specs above minimum and what I saw in game should be easily handled by my laptop), 2nd hitboxes are really weird (sometimes shooting to the head doesn't kill zombie?) and I turned off this game without any intentions to go back.

PROS

Idea. Project of the Developer idea is really good. With proper execution and story it could be AAA title worth idea (something like game itself develops with your playstyle and your decisions), but developers just ruined everything. There is no proper story what ruins all potential in idea.

NEUTRAL

I don't know... Game is so empty that I have no idea what can be mentioned here.

CONS

Optimization. As I mentioned before I had low FPS on mid range laptop when visual aren't really good. Game should be able to run on low end computers without any problems.

Gameplay. Project of the Developer is boring and empty game. You spawn kill some zombies and advance to identical level with more hud or objectives (level design changes after few levels but feels like same a bit bigger level). Shooting feels clunky and awkward.

Animations. Zombies animations are really bad. They look awkward while running, attacks are too slow and overall nothing looks good from animation side.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.
[■■□□□□□□□□] Not worth time.

Project of the Developer didn't bring anything good from gameplay side and I didn't enjoyed this game at all. Everything is outdated and developers picked an idea and made game without putting enough effort into anything. I don't like blaming developers for making mistakes, but in this game it feels like they wanted fast money capitalizing on idea without any proper effort.

Sparkle ZERO is simple and casual game. All you have to do is eat everything else but yourself and you get bigger and stronger. After playing this game for a while I found it boring and pointless because there was no challenge (you are invincible) and just no thrill at all.

PROS

Visuals. Game looks visually awesome and smooth. Design very nice and I have nothing bad to say on that, everything done perfectly.

Sounds. Sparkle ZERO is relaxing game and sounds helps to make that feeling. There was things that could be improved, but overall I liked everything in the game from sounds side.

NEUTRAL

Idea. The game idea is to eat other things and become stronger and this is really good idea for a game, but somewhere in idea development something went wrong and in this game eating stuff becomes boring really fast.

CONS

Gameplay. Similar to idea, but it feels like developers were too lazy on making engaging and interesting gameplay. 10 minutes in game and I was bored. There is no point of doing anything in game because you are already nothing that can kill you. Everything around feels peaceful and you are the only one who is eating things around you what makes you parasite. Yes after playing Sparkle ZERO for a while I started feeling like a parasite, bad guy because I ate peaceful Sparkles.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.
[■■■□□□□□□□] Boring and meaningless

Sparkle Zero could be good game, but developers didn't put enough effort in developing idea enough what led this game into vortex of emptiness. Developers could make environment more aggressive and dangerous and that would be everything that game needs to make it 80% better. Since there wasn't anything thrilling about this game I can't recommend it.

Alpacapaca Dash is simple runner hard platformer. Controls feels reliable and it is easy to get used to them. Everything about this game feels smooth enough and some additions like unlockables just makes it a bit better.

PROS

Unlockables. I've played few different runners and Alpacapaca Dash have best unlockables. Prices are balanced even though it looks really expensive at the begining but after upgrading coins drop it becomes affordable to obtain every single alpaca skin (it took me about 2 hours to get every single unlockable).

Controls. I used controller to play this game and everything felt smooth without delay or any other inconvenience like most other runner games have. At all times I felt that I am in control and I knew that I could do better after each death.

NEUTRAL

Soundtrack. I liked and hated sountrack at the same time... It is repetetive and not really good, but that soundtrack fitted Alpacapaca Dash perfectly.

CONS

Replay value. Yes it played it for more than 2 hours and unlocked everything, but after that time I do not feel going back again. I really liked while it lasted but in the end I am doubting that I am going back to the game but 2+h for a game with this price tag is still enough and worth buying.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation:
[■■■■■■□□□□] , nice running game for this price tag. Enjoy while it last!!

Alpacapaca Dash isn't going to win any awards, but it delivers enough joy for 2+hours. I would recommend this game for a person who likes that kind of games.

Snik is simple game with simple idea. You have to move your ball with mouse clicks and collect yellow balls. Sounds simple? yes it is very simple and easy to get 1 star from level.... to get 2 stars it becomes harder because you have to beat time and 3 stars... just almost impossible and meaningless, not only you have to beat time, but you have to do that in certain amount of moves which is very very low amount.

PROS

Simplicity. Snik is very simple and easy to play. Design is minimalistic and that makes this game based on gameplay alone and I like that.

NEUTRAL

Gameplay. I wanted something more from gameplay... More interactive and more brain teasing. Now the game offers very simple idea with poor fulfillment. Snik lacks kick in the game and it becomes quite boring.

CONS

Difficulty. As I said before the game is easy... to beat with low score... but if you wan't to get 3 stars on every level prepare yourself for long misery.

CONCLUSION

Evaluation.
[■■■□□□□□□□] Poor, could be better.

Snik isn't worth your time for what this game offers at this moment. This game could be much better by just tweaking some aspects but now it just doesn't worth anything...

Brain In My Head is very badly made shooter. Only reason that game like this could be made is for learning purposes for university on last day with tons of coffee and alcohol but that game shouldn't be selled on steam for that price. Music was best thing in the game and it wasn't like really good.

PROS

Soundtrack. Best thing in the game. Soundtrack wasn't best I heard in games but it was decent enough to stand out from everything else...

NEUTRAL

I don't even know what to put here... Cards? there isn't enough of gameplay to get all of the cards. Achievement? You will have to spend lots of time for them... Developers managed to screw up achievements and this game doesn't fit for achievement hunters...

CONS

Graphics. Everything looks bad... From zombies to environments. There are only few types of zombies and basically they do not differ enough except bosses from regular zombies. On top of that I felt that I wasn't having enough FPS all game.

Animations. If zombies chasing you should feel that and now I felt like there is 2 different pictures of zombie changing and that mannequin is moving towards you. No thrill, no adrenaline, no threat were felt playing survival zombie shooter and this is because of poor animations.

Configurations. You can't change any key bindings at all meaning that you are stuck with keys that developer chosen. AND LEVEL RESET IS R!!!!!!! come on... I reload with that button... Restarted level few times till I got used to that controls even though you don't need to reload because your clip is infinite. And I couldn't change mouse sensitivity which is really bad because it was way too sensitive for me.

Level design. You spend all game on the different flying patterns. Sounds nice? no... game developers couldn't manage to build proper zombies so they decided to make confusing levels with lots of space to fall. Yes you can see where everything ends but combined with that weirdly fast movement sometimes you just fall off.. oh and on top of that there is transparent red ground on sides you can walk on and other things you can't jump on. Just overall levels looks bad with different abstract shapes floating somewhere off map and that transparent ground makes it hard to determine end when you running.
Last level.... This was one of the worst levels I saw in any games. Moving platforms isn't fun in this game and killing zombies feels useless because they are just simple obstacle that can be easily killed. Moving between platforms and jumping on some of them is worst part. In the end I died few times just because I couldn't jump on last platform with a boss.

CONCLUSION

Brain In My Head isn't worth your time and money. All gameplay isn't fun at all, most levels are just too easy and last level just frustrating. The game offers nothing in exchange of your money and time, no fun, no enjoyability and no any skill. I do not recommend this game and I would suggest to avoid it.

P.S. I spent more time writing review than actually playing this game...

KAMI is simple and satisfying puzzle game. Game idea is very simple: click to change from one color to another all touching same color squares and in the end you have to make all field to same color. There isn't anything too complicated in the KAMI what makes it even more enjoyable and nice.

PROS

Satisfying. The way colors changes (unwraps like origami) is really staisfying and nice. It gives you feeling that everything is in order and there is no chaos between you and the game.

Graphics. KAMI graphically looks really nice and there is no distractions anywhere. Developers didn't tried to overdo leavining game looking simple but beautiful.

Soundtrack. This game is relaxing and music just adds peace in the game. There is no tension anywhere and music hit the mark. Even though KAMI is puzzle based game I felt relaxed and calm after playing it.

NEUTRAL

Gameplay. Yes everything is calming and peaceful but there could be more in the gameplay. There is only 1 type of mechanics used in game and nothing more. At least there could be blocks that does different things (double colored, block that can't change color).

CONS

Levels design. Yeah levels design felt repetetive to me and some of levels looked very similar even though they palyed out differently still it gave feeling of repetition.

CONCLUSION

I recommend to play KAMI for everyone feeling angry or bad in general because this game will make you feel more comfortable and relaxed. This game can be played by few minutes sessions and you won't forget how it is played because of simple mechanics.
