The Garden of Eden, in Abrahamic religion, is a paradise created to host the Tree of Life, the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. The Abrahamic God also placed Adam and Eve here, making the Garden of Eden the place of origin for humanity. Adam and Eve were cast out after being tricked by the snake into consuming a fruit from the Tree of Knowledge, creating original sin and dooming humanity to damnation until Jesus Christ's sacrifice.
