At the time of writing this, the servers have been down for 55 days (since march 20th, 2023). They keep posting troubleshooting tips on their socials, but none of the tips work. At this point it's obvious that the game is, at minimum, not being taken care of since their new game has come out. At maximum, they did it purposefully. Regardless of the reasoning for the servers being down, Ubisoft doesn't care for this game anymore. Unless there is a change soon, I wouldn't buy this game or even download it for free.

Visually this game is amazing. I absolutely love the painterly splash screens. Now I can just learn how to play this game properly it could easily be my favorite game.

A large proportion of Paradox's games are a copy and paste of the same thing. With that being said, what is being copied is a really good f-ing game. 10/10 would buy same game again.
