I have nothing but positive things to say about this one. Tight controls, well paced, banging battle soundtracks, rewarding exploration, and a leveling-up mechanic that somehow avoids the need for any repetitive grinding. Cannot praise this one highly enough.

This game is special. Some of the best writing, acting, and storytelling I've experienced in a video game.

This is a long game - but well paced. Like a great film, it dangles the impending doom and chaos like a carrot in front of the player urging them on through the games slower moments. I didn't even realize that I could fast travel until 40 hours into the game, and to be honest I did not mind one bit. That gap between missions galloping through the beautiful environments was a well needed reprieve between all the madness.

This isn't Breath of the Wild, but the open world seems more justified and alive than any other "AAA" game in the past few years.

Plays great with a controller. My only complaint is that the cover system kinda sucks from time to time. This is a game with a lot of shooting, and the shooting is pretty fun. But its the context for each encounter that makes the gunfights in this game special.

If you have the time to sink into it, it's well worth the pick up- at any price. 9/10

Beautiful and fun metroidvania. The platforming is top tier, rivaled only by games like Celeste. So smooth.

Early Access Review
For a game that isn't even done, the mechanics are damn impressive. Shooting feels amazing. There's a short learning curve to getting used to aiming and reloading in VR, but once it clicks in it is all second nature.

Feature request: It would be awesome to be able to pull grenade pins with your "teeth" (holding grenade below the headset).

This game kills you - a lot. But somehow it is rarely frustrating - perhaps due to the surprisingly engaging story about determination and reconciliation. The rare game that forces you to "git gud" while still maintaining accessibility.

A must play. Good game.

This game is great for all the reasons Half Life 2 was great mechanicaly, then took the story to the next level. This game will beat you into loving it so hard you will irrationally protect a garden gnome against an enemy that threatens humanity.

The only flaw with this game is the fact it ends with a tragic and emotional event that leaves the player haning for 9 years while they devolve any rare hope of a sequal into a sad, decrepit meme.

3/3 game.

Anyone who says video games cannot be art is full of mega BS.

Definite reccomend. You will just have to trust me. Explaining the game will ruin it. Just play.

ONE OF THE BEST GAMES I HAVE EVER PLAYED! This game utilizes the immersion, achievement, and enjoyement one looks for in videogames. The gameplay consists of sequencial missions that involve the assasination of key targets. On these runs, the levels are semi-open world with an infinite number of ways to achieve your goal. Combined with the hidden secrets and side quests (not overly distracting like in most rpg games), the customazation on your spells and gear allows you to firght awesome and rewarding battles. No two encounter ever plays the same way. There is always another angle to take., wether it be stealthly assasinating people or teleporting into someones face and getting them in the gut, battling the rest of the opponents in intense swordplay. To add to the already awesome gameplay, the blood and dismemberment effects are EPIC. Plus, there is slow-mo effects for things like drop assasinations. I assure you, this game is the cream of the crop. I am on my third playthrough, and the new things i find never cease to bore me. To make a long review short, this game ROCKS.
