The controls felt clunky and the multiplayer implementation is very strange in my opinion. We could only "help" someone else's community with some actions only being available to the host, we needed to stay close to the host and there is no shared storage. Does not feel like a multiplayer/cooperative game at all.

It has some elements that are not that intuitive to get into from today's perspective and it doesn't fit the current zeitgeist and that's what makes it so absolutely great!

Great game. Got praised a lot and lives up to every little bit. Quite addictive. Big plus for me was that it worked with my Non-X-Box-Controller without configurating anything. Controls work flawlessly, so that dying always feels like it's your own fault, which is really important in my opinion for a game not to be frustrating after a while. The game has its slow phases, but there are also some challenging moments that call for an adaption of playstyle. Bringing me to my last point: The variety of weapons and their combinations offer a whole lot of those playstyles. Nearing the end of the first playthrough (i think) most of them seem playable and unique. Got it on sale, best 2,99€ spent in along time. Probably also worth the full price. Oh and the narrator thing ist really neat!
