Hello All,

There has been a swirl of negativity and uncertainty about what was promised from early backers, to people that play and support the game now. I felt compelled to write a bit of a summary of my expirience with the game, and hopefully either make potential buyers move forward with ease, or give caution. I have no idea what it will do, that's up to you.

I have as of now around 300 hrs with Gold Rush. It had a bit of a rocky start but the one thing I've been most impressed with that I've not seen from any other Indie Dev, is the work ethic to address concerns from the community and either squash the bug or fix it and revamp it. Gold Rush the TV show has a cult like following. This game is similar but should be viewed through it's own lense. It is a sandbox game and was meant at its' core, to be a creative expirience for it's players.

A lot of gamers in the comunity have been turned off by what was promised in the kickstarter, paid micro transactional DLC and etc. I personally am not turned off by any of it. I understand this team needs money to continue developmemt. I also realize that I wasn't backing this project as a kickstarter to get stuff for free. I backed it cause I wanted to see it succeed. It's a great game and one that leaves me working on my claims, and using the equipment to create my own thing. Very few games in this genre truely give you the option of the creativness.

Absolutly fantastic Game. Lots of great content, and great extendability of gameplay of new areas to explore. Couple this with Truckers MP and you have a great sim. All steering wheels and Shifters add enormously to the gameplay. 5 out of 5.
