I am glad that an influencer can bring attention to a really beautifully made game. I am enjoying it so far.

Edit: This game is worth your attention, time, and money. I think this is going to be mentioned for people's GOTY. It is currently my GOTY.

One of the most poignant pieces of anti-war media ever created. Beautiful and worth your attention.

A cultural landmark, extreme gore, loud music, fast paced. 100% worth your attention and time.

Microtransactions are bad and are only going to get worse. Adding them on release is especially harmful to people who are susceptible to overspend. Thank goodness the primary gameplay loop is so engaging that the scam of buying anything else is so obvious.

It really does feel like Capcom Publishing is undermining their own development team, very little faith in the primary gameplay loop; that people would be wanting to pay to skip it. “Voting with wallet,” never worked. People will pay for anything viewed as “advantageous,” (even in singleplayer) and a significant portion spend with the express purpose of flaunting vanity. Microtransactions are harmful but it is more than clear that nobody outside of game development cares because people will still buy them no matter what.

Conspiracy theory: I think that the fast travel system was not intended to be in the game at all. It’s more immersive when travelling everywhere on foot; from town to town, straight into any building. The only loading screen being saving the game/cooking is extremely cool.

I like this game

Anyone complaining about movement changes does not know what a FOV slider is, and does not know how to read patch notes. The physics DID NOT CHANGE from the Beta.

Edit at 176 hours: Game is still good, overwhelming combat and a lot of actions to maximize efficiency. Great movement, lots of variety and I feel like I am always impressed by other people's gameplay.

The atmosphere in this game is enveloping but does not seem as threatening as the characters imply. Besides boss fights the enemy encounters have not been a problem on Very Hard Difficulty, (Act 3: Delivering Relief Supplies to SNC). I am thoroughly enjoying this game. I am using it to relax and explore a beautiful rendition of the continental United States post weirdmageddon. If you are looking for a relaxing gameplay loop focused on navigating desire paths through uneven terrain with EXTREMELY SIMPLIFIED PHYSICS this is the game for you. The soundtrack goes hard.
