Updated for 11/2022: They fix some of the bugs.

Too much visual & gameplay bug. Cyberware occasionally stop working (double/charge jump). Custom keybinding didn't work 70% of the time (using item/quickslot, toggle crouching, sprint). Randomly slowed down/unable to run (not over weight limit) that require reload save. Vehicle stop/stuck/fly/fall through floor. Get thrown across the world by interacting with wrong loot. Cannot loot items. UI didn't support ultrawide monitor (photo mode/menu/inventory) and break when your equipment has too much text (e.g. full mods and attachment on legendary tech rifle will break UI). Traffic stop for no reason/blocking player vehicle. Raytracing bug where there is shadow in the middle of the screen that spread slowly filling the entire screen making every character skin turn metallic grey (require game restart to fix).

I played Anthem when it launch since it's 3rd person shooter, while remain ignorant of this title. I was so wrong. This is basically what Bioware tried to copy and they failed hard. Shooting gun feels better here, enemy actually try to move out of harm way. Getting loot is straight forward, no need to face 2-3 loading screen just to change gear set. If only this game has 3rd person view too (full experience, not just parts when using certain skill/weapon), it'll be perfect for me.

Updated Review: They seems to fix disconnect problem... by hiding the messages. Well, at least now the disconnect messages happen less, and i can actually start a private room without being thrown error message.

Old Review: The disconnection need to be fixed, sure it's engaging for hours when the monster are new and playing it solo, but not after you have beaten everything at least once. Then came the multiplayer, random disconnection, can't even start a room without error being thrown first (my first attempt creating room from loading menu always fail, only the second or later will work, and not for long). This is after the "disconnection patch" that turned out to be a placebo as well.

Great game with horrible technical problem. First 2 patch tried but didn't fix the slowdown bug. 100 hours in, no crash at all, decent fps, but UI always slowdown after long play session (30 minutes+), needing to restart the game every few hours because UI took too long to respond (It's okay during mission, but really slow in pre-combat and company management). There is loading to loading screen, yeah, you read that right. Too many repeating cinematic e.g: traveling from system A to system B, with 3 cinematic loading screen, yeah i get that the lore said the ship can only jump 30 light year for each refuel, but doesn't mean that when i want to skip over 3 system, i have to face 4-5 cinematic loading screen instead of one (it's not like i can stop midway to buy stuff/hire mech warrior).

Saving is problematic, there is only one save per story which prevent me to have backup 2nd save (more save slow down the game). I live in developing country, a lot of random black out, and currently my UPS is in repair, i'm risking deleting all my save to make a new fresh save just so the game can run better. One of these days, i'll lose 100 hours progress because random blackout.

Only buy this game if you can face then problem it came with.
