Early Access Review
A very solid 8/10 rn.
Super fun roguelike with an addictive loop.
Love what it brings to the table with the mining mechanic.
The weapons feel great to level up and no class feels weak or unplayable (especially with the variants available).

My only gripe so far is having to grind newly unlocked guns just so they can be actually useful on future runs. I know you don't have to choose a brand new on from the wep selects on level up but having to essentially have weaker than normal runs, pouring points into non-overclock-able weps makes some runs feel like throwaways for better runs later. It'd feel less like a waste if they could get even one OC by max level imo.

Otherwise, as a whole, the game is great. It works well with the tools DRG already had laid out and runs like a dream on the Steam Deck.
Really looking forward to seeing it grow further in Early Access.

Rock and (I can't stress this enough) stone!

The completed package for what a rougelike should be.

Engaging gameplay, a fantastic soundtrack, fun and unique characters to play as, well varied enemy types, great level designs

I could go on.
Genuinely can't find something to complain about.
Especially thanks to the solid mod support from the community.

Great game with smooth pixel animation and great dev support

The difficulty spikes a bit on later levels but its nothing gamebreaking or horribly unfair. Especially with how your builds can end up, once you know what you're doing.

Easily one of my favorite "jump-in and go" rougelikes

One of the best rougelikes I've played in the past few years. Easily my go-to game when I don't want to commit to anything and just want to chill but still want a challenge.

Great game

Straight up feels like playing an 80s-90s MTV punk rock music video. And it doesn't overstay its welcome.

♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic game.
Nearly perfect imo

Pros:
+Fantastic VA
+Soundtrack is astounding
+Gameplay is fun and engaging. There's legitimately tough challenges to face (especially in NG) and you're rewarded generously for taking on even greater optional challenges
+Character and world design are a visual treat and compliment each other perfectly
+Game's price is more than worth its value. Especially during a sale
+Engaging story through and through
+Nice animations
+interesting enemy designs and behaviors

Cons
-The mechanic of losing your equipped skills as "lives" can be off-putting/frustrating for some
-Its a fairly short game. My time logged is the time it took to do 2 full playthroughs (1 normal and 1 NG). I doubt it would take even a brand new player much more time to do the same (maybe even less, since I was 100%-ing)
-Its a very "learn as you go" kind of game. There really isn't a hard tutorial for some important things like the Functions or some status effects

I'd say this is must buy for anyone who hasn't had a taste of it yet.
Absolutely one of my all time favorite games.
