For anyone that is truly anxious about tanking, this is some good advice. Just like in life when you get knocked down, get back up dust yourself off and press forward. I still remember my first time tanking back in 2.0, I was running Sastasha and I could not hold threat to save my life (didn't know "Flash" was for threat generation, just thought it was for blinding the enemy). The trash, bosses nothing seemed to want to attack me and yes I did cause a few wipes but in the end it doesn't matter because it was a learning experience. No one yelled at me or got angry everyone was helpful and was willing to give out advice. If anything I was more frustrated with myself, remember you are your own worst critic. Read the tooltips for abilities, use training dummies, watch strategy videos if you want. Never stop learning, it's been almost 6 years since I started tanking in FFXIV and I still learn new things every day. You have the potential to be great, if you believe in yourself.
