been getting my ass whooped so hard my nerves are thoroughly shocked and im left shivering like a baby animal lost on a cold rainy night. this is literally the greatest fighting game ever made

the controls are so strange and old and it feels wrong and a lot of the achievements youd want to flaunt are going to make you want to cry if you actually decide to go for them but like. i actually think this game is worth a try. even if its a bit frustrating or you lose missions or you get low ratings or whatever. getting into the rhythm of the controls is actually really satisfying once you get past the clunky barrier. doing tricks suddenly feels rewarding and fun. the varied cast is also just really enjoyable, i love dj professor k's entertaining commentary between missions. the game's always got these little boosts of oddities and confusion to keep pushing you forward that i just don't think would scan as nicely from watching a playthrough. if you really, really want to give jet set radio a chance, may as well start here. though i can totally understand why some may want to avoid it. consider the recommendation on the shaky-side and with a lot of my pros being in hindsight, and after i'd already played the base game with less of an understanding on the controls. steer clear if you'd prefer a game you can cling to instantly, but if you're more patient, give it a shot.

boring review: genuinely a really good game, with all the passion very visible in all corners. any oddities or setbacks are very easy to forgive with the dev team being far from a big triple A studio. it's definitely worth your attention at the least. the art direction is gorgeous, skating/railgrinding is addictive, and any more repetitive sections (usually lesser fights) at least dont stick around for too long. give it a shot, you might get hooked like i did.

The only part of P3 we can all agree was the only blessing it had to offer. If you aren't someone willing to give the game a try (and who could blame you, even with patches...) the OST definitely covers a lot of bases that make it feel like there's at least one song for everybody to enjoy. The OST is way more worth everyone's while, easily one of the strongest soundtracks of the series, only bogged down by what it's attached to.

this is literally one of the greatest indie games created in years i am so serious when i say its gonna be a LONG time til we see something like this again. with the era of ♥♥♥♥ just getting pumped out the years of effort that went into this love letter to the warioland series and all platformers alike is the best we're gonna be served on a sparkling silver platter for an eternity. i wouldnt have it any other way. it encourages all styles of play from slow exploration to speedrunning and it's a damn crime its in this world and not a better one

it can feel a little clunky but it's very forgivable. it's held up a lot better than a lot of other games from this era from the spirit it gave itself. i lost so much sеminal fluid to photos of sasha nein and caligosto loboto.

i actually cried and i did it with my cоck in my hand the whole time. ecstasy like this will never be known again. sasha nein and caligosto loboto were barely in this yet he's proven time and time again that they will drain my sack with unbelievable profession. great game i like it a lot

i genuinely dont think ive played a game so polished and fun. its like you can just tell the devs are fans of the medium and the genre, and know exactly what people would adore in a boomer shooter inspired title. i beg you to at least give it a shot, its highly likely to hit your brain right in some capacity. it has some goofy satire, and sure itll probably be very dated one day, but right now its actually pretty decent at the worst. its got extremely good, challenging enemies that overload your senses but keep you right on your toes and full of adrenaline. its just good, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing even. i'm no completionist, and im pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad at this kind of game, but i still think something like this is worth searching every crack and crevice. so many fun secrets, you dont wanna miss out on this.
