Look, I usually don't buy mixed or worse reviewed DLC even for games I love. But Egosoft has been pumping out unparalleled space simulators for decades. Yes they're buggy, yes the AI is tough to work with. I just haven't found anything like em. I haven't opened timelines yet, I have no idea if I'll like it. But even if I don't, I want to keep Egosoft going. They took a risk on this. I am happy to reward that based on the good faith they've built over the years.

If I love it, I'll come back and let you know. Either way, I won't be refunding this.

Could we get some upgrades to the AI tho? Please?

Fantastic start to another game by the dudes that made Prison Architect. Not a lot here, but a lot of promise and a team with a record of going well beyond expectations.

Solid. Similar to the X universe games, but less complex and easier to access. When I want to play a space game. but chiller.

It's a ton of fun. when Co-op drops, it'll be insane.

Probably my favorite farming sim. It's got all of the stuff I've come to expect from games like Stardew Valley with a more modern graphic style. Plus it adds a spin on the genre by providing an attunement to the environment that just makes sense. They do automation just right, there is personality in the people and place, and the devs are very active and communicative.

it also doesn't overdo any of it. Such a great cozy game.

Wanna build cool buildings? Wanna ride a T-Rex? Wanna milk your team mates for blood while they sleep?

ARK.

Starts out feeling like factorio, then it turns into something greater. And it has a bight development future ahead of it. Once they add blueprints, it'll be more addicting than cocaine.

I loved the original EG and I really wanted to love this game but I could barely find the motivation to get through the tutorial. They basically stripped out all of the fun details of EG. The only thing this has on EG is a fast forward button that was desperately needed. Otherwise it's a disappointment. I'll check back after its had some updates and a sale.

It's a fantastic coop game where your choices matter.

Oh Rimworld. Come for the firefly-like colony sim, enjoy the drama, stay for the organ harvesting.
