I wish that the part where the little ball makes all the blue gems go flying into your body was real. I bet that feels so good when that happens.

The follow up to one of my favorite games of all time, Cryptark, this game takes the classic formula of raiding biomechanical ships full of enemies and translates it into 3d environments! The results are a bit of a missed bag but the gameplay loop is still compelling and I still love the setting! It's still a blast to strategically size up a ship, take down it's systems one by one, and finally take out the brain or boss. While not as great as it's predecessor, I really hope that they stick with this franchise because I'm loving it!

One of the best times I've ever had with a video game, hands down. Can't wait for my memory to start going with old age so that I can experience it all over again.

Good, clean, stupid fun.

This game is a blast. I still fire it up from time to time to go through a run or two. Everything from the art, the setting, the game play loop, the little hidden lore gems with the artifacts, are all superb. It's definitely a feel good game for me.

It's a little tough. But when RNG smiles on you and you roll into that Cryptark with a little robo-suit that you either crafted into a tiny god or that you've learned all the quirks of an can pilot like you stole it feels pretty awesome.

Very highly recommend, legit one of my favorite games. Would probably buy a steam deck to just for this alone if I had buy a steam deck money.
