This is the most beautiful game I have played in my entire life. Ori & The Blind Forest is the second one.
I won't recommend this to anyone, never again. They don't deserve this beautiful piece of art. I'll recommend this only to special people, like a best friend or my child, if I ever have one.

First of all, I bought a secondary account on Steam, therefore the hour count on this review isn't real. Actually, the hour count for Steam games isn't actual gameplay time. That is tracked by your Uplay account.

Now, let me tell you something:

This is the best shooter ever made. Period.

This is the best coop game ever made.

Great game.

This game has, by far, the best combat mechanics for a medieval brawler, ever. The physics, the weight of the weapons, the sounds of blades clashing against each other... the easy to learn-hard to master combat mechanics are lovely, and it even has a competitive potential if desired.
It's been 2 weeks since I got it, and the devs already released a patch that fixes the most annoying issues and balances the things that the players asked.
It has some things that should be reviewed, like horses not colliding with other horses, but I don't have any other major complaint. They should release more frontline maps and probably optimize them more. But I'm sure they will. This game has a bright future. Please, buy it. You won't regret it.

This is truly a masterpiece in three different ways:

1- Technically outstanding. Facial animations, textures, lightning, shadows, ragdolls, dismembers. The engine shines and show off technical features that were never present in any game of the franchise.
2- Old mechanics from the saga were reinvented without removing the feeling of the original. It feels old school, but updated to our modern times. Examining objects serve real purpose. Solving puzzles really make you think twice and interact in different ways with items or objects in the scenario. Shooting feels great, the gameplay itself has a good flow. With some bosses, I felt like I wanted to have an evasive dash or something, but it would have made these fights really easy and unchallenging.
3- The game is a remaster but built from scratch. If you didn't play the original RE2, you will still enjoy this game as ♥♥♥♥; BUT, if you played the original like me, 20 years ago, you won't remember every detail of it, and even though this is not a copy paste of the original, they recreated everything in a way that you'll have intense flashbacks and memories from something "very similar" in the past. It is amazing and very hard to describe that feeling, because it's nostalgia and memories of fun moments, but moments that actually never existed in the way this game shows them now.

9,90/10. I hope RE3 gets remastered this way.
P.S.: 0,10 were taken away because some boss fights mechanics aren't well developed. I'm not sure how someone would fight some bosses without being hit. There's no much room for movement and I felt like I was punished for defending myself instead of running. I'm sure someone else would master those fights without being hit or tanking an actual fight, but for my first playthrough, I feel like I was missing something...

Me sorprende que no hayan podido hacer un RE nuevo con la esencia de este, y me sorprende más aún que hayan hecho un remake tan bien hecho, captando la escencia del RE2 original, sin tener el aspecto ponja de los más nuevos, donde a los zombies les salen tentáculos hasta del orto y se pierde un poco la sensación de tener zombies en frente. Sorprendido por este remake, aparenta ser una obra maestra. Recomendado, me voy a comprar el juego cuando salga

Even though the game is in early access and has some problems, the small indie group of devs that it has behind is contantly working on new content and improving what they did. This game has a good future ahead. Totally recommend it!
