It's a fun tower defence game with an interesting and aesthetically pleasing pixel art style. It's a great game for killing time if your bored and can get quite challenging after a while!

If you don't know how these games work:

You have a base which you need to defend against waves of enemies which progressively get harder to defeat each wave and new enemies are introduced every few waves. You can purchase upgrades to your base at the end of each round with the points you got from killing enemies and surviving; these upgrades make your base stronger and add weapons to the walls.

You can also purchase new weapons with the points as well. there aren't a lot of weapons but for a game as small as this it makes no difference.

Pros:

Could run on a Toyota Corolla
Classic base defence game
Nice 2D graphics (good art design)
Simple controls and easy to play
Doesn't crash like most cheap games
Great for killing time
Downloads quickly

Cons:

A bit pricey for what you get
can get a bit boring quickly

Insurgency: Sandstorm is a direct upgrade to the previous game Insurgency. The game revolves around realistic action which manifests its self if its stunning graphics, realistic gun physics and damage and realistic player models (I will touch on this later). The devs listen to their player base!

For an indie game it matches any AAA game in its category. The combat is intense and most of the time you will find yourself dying out of no where which can be frustrating at first but once you get used to the maps and what things look like you will start to die less and enjoy the game more. You will die very quickly, VERY quickly due to the realistic weapon damage. This can be frustrating but is something you get used to. Because of the type of game it is, you do need to put quite a few hours into it before you get good map sense and common player routes.

There is as pretty good selection of content to enjoy, CO-OP against AI, Casual and competitive play, an arcade mode (which usually consists of limited time content; usually a rework of an existing game mode) and community servers. The devs are always working on this game and each update either puts plenty of new weapons and maps into the game along with TONS of bug and quality of life changes. As I said before the player models are key to this type of game. They don't have rim lighting (like COD or R6) which makes them quite hard to see sometimes.

Cons:
Quite difficult to get used to (if you aren't already used to this type of game)
The community can be quite toxic some times

Pros:
lots of weapons and attachments to choose from
Plenty of large maps that offer plenty of attack routes that allow the player to choose their own routes
There are more run and gun classes and team oriented classes (for a commander to call in an airstrike they need an observer near them to call it in.
It's a good game buy it

Truly a game to last for ages (and it already has!). Payday 2 creates a new format of FPS games. It combines fast paced nature of Doom and the secrets of COD zombies with a complex system of weapon upgrades, player skills and a large range of difficulties able to challenge even the best of players. There is a great deal of skill required to master the game, and a whole new set of skills for each play style, (dodge builds, armour builds and many more). with over 50 heists (each sporting different objectives and planning) and two alternate game modes and 250 character levels. You will be playing this game for hundreds of hours before reaching the end game. Each game can have up to four players.

There are tons of secrets hidden throughout the game and plenty of achievements for all of you achievement hunters out there!

Cons:
Lots of DLC which can become quite expensive (however the ultimate edition solves this problem)
Playing at a low difficulty will make you run into cheaters
The community can be pretty toxic to new players (but this isn't always the case)
(If you are into item trading) Skins are worth nothing on the market

Pros:
Cheaters are clearly highlighted by the game and are easily dealt with
Thousands of different skill and weapon combinations
Lots of content
An active player base
Multiple difficulty levels which are very challenging
Over 1,000 achievements which makes the game great if you are an achievement hunter (many of them take time and skill to get)

I'm getting bored by writing this review at this point but just get the game (and make sure your friends do to, it's much funner with friends)

Beatuiful scenery and world design along with amazing AI and story, this game is what all open world games should espire to be. The developers spent their time crafting this wonderful experience that nothing can match.

This is one of, maybe even the best, games I've ever played. Don't be fooled by its simplistic cover because it is full of amazing story and it took me 7.5 hours to get through the entire game. A 7.5 hours truly well spent. This game takes a new perspective on just about everything. From its vibrant colours to its witty dialogue, I couldn't recommend this game more to anyone.

Incredible game with a nice story. I love the new approach to an atmospheric horror game as you never know whats infront of you and unless you want to know you have to physically find out you cant just backout and see it from a safe distance.
