As a life long fan of the original, there were too many changes to the storyline for me to find this enjoyable. The ending just went off the rails, and spat in my face - I won't say any more to avoid spoilers.

Newcomers to the game may find this enjoyable, and mechanically it's pretty well made. You may even be a long time fan and enjoy this new spin on the game, but that's not how I was left feeling. The next one has been announced, and I can confidently say I won't be purchasing it.

In short: if you don't hold the original story as sacred, then go ahead - you'll probably have fun, but if you're like me and just wanted a 1:1 remake with better graphics and a little more padding, you might be disappointed.

i managed 2 hours, and then had to request a refund - which I am very upset about as the game itself seemed very compelling. The issue was that it would constantly crash, and it's not like I'm running this on a potato PC: 9900K, 32GB RAM, 2080TI.

I really wanted to find out more of the story :(

If you're planning on playing this in co-op with a friend, you better hope you enjoy constant stuttering, lag, and unplayable gameplay. I'm running a 9900K, 2080ti, and 32GB of RAM. This should not be an issue.
