Although the story is short and fairly straightforward, the game is quite charming. The pixel graphics are beautiful and the combat experience is excellent.

I will say that at the moment magic is rather broken and melee felt really weak to me until a late point in the game and I felt that was kind of limiting my build options, though I imagine this will be balanced out with patches.

I kind of wish there was more to do in the game, like maybe a new game+ or an endless mode where you try to go through as many rooms as possible. Currently, there's nothing to do once you finish the story.

With that said, I think Archvale is an experience well worth the money and fans of the bullet hell genre will enjoy it in particular.

This is Skyrim with better combat.

Best game ever made.

I bought a four-pack when this was in Early Access, one of the best gaming decisions I've ever made.

Very fun game, sucks you right in and forces you to play until you're exhausted. My only issues with it is that the good/evil system could have been so much more than it is.

Great game nonetheless.
