Fun game about corporate greed, main gameplay loop revolves around exploiting Hoxxes for its natural wealth without any regard for the native life or ecosystems. My favorite detail is how in every extraction the company collects the resources first and dwarves second.

The learning curve is steep and some find the dlc policy Paradox practices rather unfair, but the game receives new content fairly regularly and remains a stellar (a)historical sandbox playground. The sheer neumber of options the player can pursue is both intimidating for a new player, but also the source of a lot of the fun in the game! Would recommend!
