It is great to unwind and control a freight train. Or relax and enjoy the countryside in a passenger train. I always find myself coming back. But there are problems with some, not all routes. Some have a terrible stutter and no computer performance fixes it. It would be best to google search and read reviews of routes and maybe watch some videos to rule out the bad ones. My favorite time is driving the US freight trains. It is such a relief when you finally figure out how to manipulate the three brake systems to slow the steep grades. It took a while.
