DRG is a good game.

10/10, would nuke myself again.

*I may edit this review as the devs begin to address many underlying bugs and QoL features, but comfortable recommending this game, with a few caveats worth considering if anyone is taking a look at this game*:


Gameplay is fun. Server issues at launch are one of the biggest drivers for negative reviews, and seem to have stabilized and are improving as of this writing. There are issues that the devs should address. The infamy exp from challenges with no passive exp for it seems odd. No voice chat is bad. No pre-planning chat is bad (text only available in heist). No offline mode is bad. No client side hosting is bad. But the gameplay is fun, stealth is far more forgiving and has way more avenues for team involvement (masked or unmasked), doing away with the detection stat from PD2 was a good idea. Probably some things good and bad I’ve missed. I hope continued support brings improvements to the QoL and addition content as they tended to do in PD 2.

This game is great. Play it.

Dishonored is a fresh twist on level based gaming - it allows you to freely choose to complete your missions and objectives by force, stealth tactics or a combination of both. The tools at your disposal are creatively implemented to allow for an experience that feels truly unique in gaming.

The game is fun, and worth a look for dedicated fans of the franchise, but it feels a lot more like an extension of Borderlands 2, while being not nearly as fun. Would I recommend it? Yes, but check out BL2 or BL1 first.
