I'm giving this a No because of the game's relentless final Act.
But in the text I will give it a Yes for everything before it.

Acts 1, 2 and 3 feel like Shadow of Mordor+, more orcs, ability to hold keeps, have seiges, and explore various places around Mordor. Was a really great 25 hours minus a somewhat strange story that often felt like it had no place being where it was. If the story was based soley on the Nazgul and less of everything else its possible more could have been done to build a great lore. As someone who played Lord of the Rings Online I know there's more, a lot more, to the the Witch King.

I love the Nemesis system, I like Talion's characters, and I enjoy fighting orcs. What I didn't enjoy was how with all the gameplay that was given us, the surrounded reason for doing anything felt lost. I had to tell myself I enjoyed playing this game for the Orcs, my favorite moment placing an Orc who makes driving noises as my Overlord. But the story missions felt like a chore and were rarely innovative.

My recommendation, get the game on sale and play until Act 4. Don't punish yourself through Act 4. There's a cutscene video on the internet that gives you what you want, but in a way I wish I never watched it cause frankly, it made little sense.

I'm sitting here with in pain because I think I swung my arm too hard.
This game is amazing. Picked this up as soon as I got my Vive and binged 3 hours that night on it, moving from normal to hard to expert. When I hit expert that is when I really had fun, moving around my space and swinging. It felt like dancing.

Beat Saber is in early access but the experience I've had playing it has made it a rare occasion for me to say the base game as is is worth the $20.

Plus you can download more custom songs with third party software.

Pick it up and challenge your friends. I found when I completed all of the base game songs on expert that I was inching on my friend's scores every game.

Remember to take break and don't over-extend your arm or you will be like me, writing this review.

The boss battles are HYPE and the story is involved and exciting. Give it a try.

Excellent game. You feel like progression is something possible with this game, and the power level system helps enforce that. Be prepared to die, but with time you will succeed.

Absolution was my first Hitman game, let that be my only bias.
That being said, while I was skeptical of the episodic nature of this game hearing of IO Interactive's split with their publisher was big news. Now you've got a game outside of the hands are publishers like Square and EA - really a rare sight.

This is now a full game with a second full game on the way (season 2) and I love it. I'm not a 100% player but getting mastery in each level is a welcome challenge for me that makes me feel like I am learning the areas and getting the most out of the story.

You play as Agent 47 as usual in a sandbox assassination world trying to kill targets in as many psycopathic ways as possible and getting joy out of each crafty death. When you're family hears what you're doing, I guarantee they will be worried for you.

No this isn't 'Kill Your Boss Simulator'. This is an intelligent and well thought out assassination game that welcomes newcomers and gives veterans hope for the future of Hitman. IO Interactive has done great things for this game since the separation and we expect them to give an even better Season 2 story.

Ark really had something, then the developers lost something.

The developer may have forgotten, but that 'something' is your community.

First the Microtransactions, now pandering to streamers and banning people for petty things.

It seems they forgot this is a battle royale game. If your streamers are so important make a ranked mode or otherwise hardcore mode and outline the rules for it.

Developers need to make a statement. Stay away.

Short answer: Incredible experience, very recommended.

Lisa is an Earthbound inspired RPG taking place sometime after the apocolypse in which all women have vanished. Brad finds a little girl in the wasteland, Buddy, and tries to raise her.
I could continue from that point, but I'd rob you of so many emotions.

Lisa plays as turnbased RPG sidescroller. You'll pass through varying areas, meet very strange people and creatures, and be Brad. There are 3 main 'hubs' where portions of the game happen and within the hubs are passageways to optional or required zones. You also gather a group of allies, 3 of which you can bring with you, but at least 14 can be found in the world by listening to a man talk, giving a guy a drink, sleeping at the inn 4 times or just giving them all your dirty magazines.

Combat has its normal turn based feel except some characters get an Input Sequence attack, (Brad, Rage, .. ?) You'll learn all the skills and different button sequences will trigger them + do additional damage. It allows you to decide to stun now or use a fireball? You get to decide in the moment what is best.

The game touches on very delicate and controversial topics such as manhood, rape, abuse. and children. I have to forewarn that the topics in this game are very harsh to realize and could upset some people. You will also make decisions that are amongst the hardest I've made in any RPG before (looking at you Fallout New Vegas) and while they are few, they are emotionally taxing to make.


Pros:

• Amazing Soundtrack
  
• Dialogue is brutally honest and encapsulating
  
• Every character leaves a mark on your mind. Even enemies you will find trouble hurting.
  
• Great pacing. Characters damage scales well. Not much need for grinding (but you can if you want).

Neutral:

• The first zone's layout can be confusing and could deter some players. It forces you in a linear path and punishes you if you deviate. The snakes will destroy you.
  
• Controversial themes. Not so much a neutral but a warning. Some serious stuff goes on in this game I have not seen tackled before. But they do it well, honestly, and with great seriousness.
  
• Art is aged by choice. This could make it hard to get engrossed at first. But you will!

Cons:

• I spent more time thinking about cons than I did writing this review.

I wholey recommend Lisa for your rainy day gaming consideration. It will stick with you.

Gamebreaking bug will stop you at the end of the game from progressing at all.
I will update when the bug has been resolved.
