An incredibly well-made action-packed mecha game that feels like a love letter to the mecha genre & all who cherish it. You obtain wide variety of parts & weapons, as well as oodles of visual customization for each of them. The characters, themes, designs, setting and music all knock it out of the park. Easily one of the best games of the year, if not game of the year, in one of gaming's strongest ever years.

Yeah all the DLC is overpriced outside of a sale, but holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ is this game fun. I'm close to 200 hrs & only like maybe 2/3 of the way in, since I had so many DLC quests in addition to main-game side quests. If you want the main game get it, but wait for a sale for the DLC.

Have over 1000 hours on Switch, and gonna be racking up at least this much on PC. It's an amazing game after Sunbreak, not without its flaws but still worth giving a proper playthrough.

PTDE definitely looks better unmodded, let's get that out of the way. However, Remastered runs more smoothly & has better online elements. PTDE you're probably getting the hardcore dueling crowd online; Remastered there's a better chance you're getting people just picking the game up for the first time. All in all, it's Dark Souls. If this is the only version you can get, it's assuredly better than no version whatsoever. And frankly - I think the improvements over PTDE make this worth it. EDIT - oh boy the collection achievement glitches are still here as well. wonderful.

Playing on a system with a 6 year old graphics card and an Intel i7 with only 3 digits in its numbering scheme, so low as heck. Still looks as good or better than on consoles. Great game.

If you are at all remotely interested in any portion of this game, be it the atmosphere, animation style, music, or even just the gameplay, get this game. At $20 this game is a steal, and it would be well worth it if the price tag was doubled. This is video games as art, in its highest form, folks. Not just that but it's downright ruthlessly difficult fun. The different characters are all lively and charming, the score is infectious, the story is a hilarious spin on a classic trope, and the controls (once set to something more reasonable than the default scheme) are crisp and precise. I'm only waiting on playing some more so I can co-op wiht a buddy of mine, but that shouldn't stop you. Get this game. I think it's so good, I went back and edited this review to go even more in depth because I want to convince more people to get it. IT'S THAT GOOD.

It's like Mario Kart, if Mario Kart were balanced better, had better powerups, looked better, sounded better, and had a hodgepodge cast of both Sega characters and other characters. Seriously worth getting.
