Thanks Kojima for making a cool character to base my entire personality around.

A wonderfully depressing story and a rich soundtrack to boot. The combat has been tweaked a bit from the original release to make it more akin to Automata. The only downside is the side quests and materials hunts are typical JRPG tropes of fetch quests and grinding drops, so getting your weapons up to par may take some time. Even with that point though, this is one of the few games I do not regret paying full price for, as it's worth it.

I'm still not forgiving Yoko Taro for making me fight best girl Devola though.

Yeah, getting to stare at 2B's 300k+ polygons of booty is nice, but you know what really takes the cake with this game?

You can fish.

Absolutely beautiful and soulful remaster of the original game. Gameplay is smooth and brings back a lot of fond memories from the original console port. If you enjoy platformers/collectathons like A Hat in Time and the early seasons of Spongebob, then you'll enjoy this game.

Bought this game originally for the sheer amount of memes, without realizing the entire game is based on memes.

That being said, it's a great hack-and-slash with a fantastic soundtrack and memorable story. Also learn to parry or be forever stuck in the blade wolf fight.

My first multiplayer experience in this game was my squad getting all in a Hind, and then the pilot started micspamming the Chinese national anthem. When he tried landing he went in too fast and we all died in the wreckage, as he got cursed out in three different languages.

A fantastic combination of both a traditional RPG and God game. The learning curve for Pathfinder isn't so steep, even for someone who is used to the rules of D&D 5e. Alignments actually mean something, as far as gameplay is concerned, and there is extensive replay value (at 35 hours I'm just at the end of Chapter 3) for different playthroughs. The city-building aspect lets you have walking contradictions like my captial, which is home to a string of bars and brothels on one side, and all of the holy sites on the other.

10/10, would sink weeks into another playthough again.

Once you get past all the remarks of bad internet, hentai links, and salty community, the game's pretty fun when you get a decent squad to play with. There is a bit of a learning curve, though, especially when you first try to learn your play style.

Just use the cluster charge on the hostage room though and all's set.

I waited almost three years to buy this game, only to return it two days after I bought it.

I understood when buying it the game was multiplayer only, but I spent more time loading game files to join a server than playing on the server, even with a good connection (read: double-digit ping).

Gameplay is awful slow, that is if you are lucky enough to spawn somewhere that isn't a PvP war zone or full of naked players chucking rocks at each other like Grug used to do back in the day.

If you're looking for a survival game with better pacing and PvE/multiplayer support, just get 7 Days to Die instead.
