I love the idea of Terraria. However, pointless mechanics and dropped features make this game a pain in the ass for me to keep my cool. I played regularly with my girlfriend, and her and I were having major trouble with the mechanic that:
I would die more than her, but she apparently would drop her stuff when she died. She suffocated in a room with an opening. I died from glitchy enemies. It became severely unenjoyable. Sorry to have to put Terraria on my not reccomended list.

My God. DO I LOVE STELLARIS. The base game and nation creation sold me. I am an avid NationStates (Nation creator) player and love the idea of bringing my ideas to life. Even as I pilot the Grand Red Fleet with her 5 Victory Class Star Destroyers across the galaxy to fight the Infinite Empire Remnants, I LOVE MODS FOR THIS GAME. This game is a great strategy game. I began as a NationStates and Civ V player. This game is a bit more hands on than Civ V, but I hope you'll love it, I do.

Team Fortress 2 was the second steam game I accquired. I played it a lot before the release of Overwatch and other games. I played before ranks, before comp, before a majority of the updates we have today. I stopped playing around 2015, and recently wanted to get nostalgia. However, it's really not the same game anymore.

As for me, It still is my crown game.

I got the game to play with my friends, but I always dislike playing this game. I shoot a man in the face with a shotgun and he kills me with a glock. This game isn't realistic, I would not reccomend it.

I bought DayZ when I was in 7th Grade (Which was about 2012-2013 if I recall), DayZ was in Early Access and led by Dean Hall. I bought the game expecting that it would be done by 2015/16 at latest. It's taken too long, and there are reasons for this:
-Dean Hall was a horrible dev. He practically neglected and abandoned B.I
-Small Dev team that had no incentive

I sparsely played DayZ, had a lot of laughs during my playtime - a lot of headaches from bandits and glitchy zombies. I came back yesterday thinking that this game would be a mess. I was proven wrong. Here's what I observed in my two days of playing:
PROS:
-Fluid play, no glitchyness that I could see (except jumping which is a 50/50)
-Health system
-Guns
-Realism (Take that as you will)
CONS:
-Character design
-Zombies too passive at some points
-Framerate (at least on my PC)

I hope you consider rejecting the negative reviews, I think they had way too high of expectations and can't get over the length of release. This revitalized dev team is trying their hardest, and I think (I hope) that updates will roll out at a reasonable pace.

Killed Nihlus and Traya. Sat in the throne of Malachore V. Abbrupt ending, now conflicted on buying the first KOTOR.

War Thunder is so fun, but it is so infuriating. If you're looking for a game where you can pilot, tanker, and sail in a war - this is for you. But here's what you should know going in.

-There is an undeniable Russian bias in the game, literally do not let anyone tell you differently. Tank shells from Russian tanks do goofy things, and I say that as a former Russia player. Most of my cheesiest kills were in Russian T34s.

-Certain countries have their advantages. Americans to me have always been bullet sponges, Germans have big gun and speed (depending on light/medium), Brits are average but good defense, etc.

-Tank combat will not make sense at first, don't try and understand it, just try and have fun. Know your tank's role and try and help your team. Nobody likes a solo-rush

-Barely anyone plays naval but I think it's really fun

Metro Last Light is a game taking place in the somewhat destroyed Metros of 2034 Russia. The game itself is a very thrill riding FPS. I mostly like it for it's closeness to the Second World War.
