Great puzzle game. I played with a keyboard, but it's best played with a controller. The puzzles are not too challenging. Takes 5 to 6 hours to complete, but there is replay value with hidden secrets.

The best tower defence series. Easy to learn. Many strategies are viable. Some tough challenges. You can play on the same account on pc and your phone. There are in-game purchases for cosmetics and progression, but it is easy to ignore as everything is unlockable without grinding. Community made challenges can be made and accessed in game. The devs are very active and friendly. New major updates are very regular.

Early Access Review
Really chill factory building game, with some fun exploring and survival added in. Multiplayer is buggy, but still fun.

The Witness is a first-person puzzle game. It has a steady learning curve, with each set of puzzles introducing different problems and new techniques.
As with most puzzle games, you should treasure your first experience. Avoid spoilers and solutions until it's absolutely necessary, because discovering the secrets is extremely satisfying.
The landscape is scenic, and the audio is serene. Wear headphones for a better experience.
One issue I had is that it ran slowly or froze on my old, low end laptop. Make sure your pc iscapable of running it, and has reasonable graphics.
The game is also available on mobile devices, if you are always on the move and have a powerful enough device.
If you are getting frustrated with a puzzle, try adjusting your perspective. Everything in the game is designed to be there.

I highly recommend this game, and I hope you have as much joy as I had discovering the isle.

Easily one of my favourite games. I found the Brototype (the game loves bros) online when the game was still in development, and enjoyed the local co-op it provided. The game is the most American thing not made in the USA, as the developers are based in South Africa.

It's a run-and-gun platformer, but with most of the ground being destructable. Through each level you play a variety of action heroes including Rambo, The Terminator, MacGyver and Ellen Ripley, each with a unique main weapon and special ability. The aim of each level is to carve your way through hordes of terrorists (or other enemies of the Land of the Free), while rescuing prisoners of war to gain extra lives, and reach the end to fly away with explosions destroying the landscape and all remaing enemies behind you.

The game is easy to start playing, and doesn't get too hard throughout the game. I did find some of the special missions harder, as you are limited to one life and some enemies can overwhelm you. Some boss battles were trickier, but satisfying once you defeated them.

The game modes that I have played are singleplayer and local co-op, and I enjoyed them. There are other game modes, including online co-op, online deathmatch, etc. There is also a level editor, and some of the community-made maps are very fun and well made.

Should you buy it? Yes. It is worth buying it at full price. Buy the 4-pack if you think your friends will enjoy it.
