Wow. Just. Wow.
From the same studio that brought you A Way Out, It Takes Two is a remarkable masterpiece that is exactly as it is described; you can't beat it without your friend.

The games story is simple, but easy to follow and get attached too. You and your friend play as the married couple Cody and May that are planning to divorce. Their daughter, Rose, is afraid of them divorcing and wants them to stay together. After some magic and feels moments, poof, you and your friend are now pint-sized-puppets that must navigate through several levels, puzzles, and bosses, while following the instructions of a walking, talking, Mexican book of Love that tries to restore the relationship between you two and make the whole family happy again.

The gameplay is really fun and VERY creative. It Takes Two is primarily puzzle focused and captures that focus almost flawlessly. The levels are all designed around different power ups both you and your partner receive and must use those new powers to navigate to your destination. This aspect is wonderful and prevents the game from getting repetitive, always giving the players new ways to get around the obstacles. The game is mostly plat-former (Mario, Sonic, ect.) however from time to time, the gameplay style changes for a bit, referencing other video games (I wont spoil the surprises) which I found funny, fun, and unique for the parts that they took place in.

The game is beautiful. Absolutely gorgeous. My partner and I quite often found ourselves complimenting how amazing the backgrounds and visual designs looked quite often. Normally for games like these, I always have a least favorite visual design between all the different levels, but this game is so damn beautiful, I cant choose. One minute you're navigating a tool shed at pint size, next minute you're travelling through space and childs bedroom fort.

The story is sad, sweet, and heartfelt. Every now and then during all the levels, the couple will briefly interact about their relationship (both positively and negatively), and look back at past memories ultimately building up to certain points in the game. Trust me, yall might hate that damn book, but after a while... he kinda grows on you...

Overall I loved the experience this game gave me. I was on the edge of my chair the whole ride, excited for the next best thing in every chapter. I played this game with a really close friend which made the experience only better. If you are looking for a fun, immersive, co-op 3D plat-former, this masterpiece is a perfect choice. And remember, it takes two to make this experience its very best, not just one.

I was on the verge of tears when me and my partner finally completed A Way Out. There was twists and turns throughout the adventure and we had several laughs. The game is exactly as described; the first few hours of the game, you and your partner are trying to escape a highly secured prison. After that, the game gets more interesting, taking you through various different locations in hopes that the two can eliminate a common enemy they share. There are plenty of small side activities for you and your partner to do, like hoops, an arcade game, horseshoes, a bunch of other stuff. The two characters, Leo and Vincent, don't trust each other very much in the beginning, but overtime, the two slowly develop an interesting relationship. I'd almost consider them friends. Me and partner certainly saw a bromance in those two.The story is great, and was one of the parts that hooked me. Everything seems easy to follow, so you'd hardly miss anything. The final hour of gameplay however, is where things get tense and where it truly becomes a clash of conviction and promise. I won't spoil it, but I HIGHLY recommend playing this game with a close friend. The better the experience. If you are looking for an epic, daring, coop adventure, this is the game for you.

This game...

Two years ago, my best friend introduced me to Persona 4. I started out with the Animation since I had no way of playing the actual game and I was blown away. Fast forward to now, and it's finally on Steam so I can enjoy the entirety of Persona 4 from the original experience.

Persona 4 is a great game and you can play it from a relaxing "I wanna enjoy the story" perspective, all the way to a challenging "give me all you got shadows" perspective. It's a turn based RPG so it definitely requires strategy. You got your Personas, your main weapons in combat which use elemental attacks, stat boosting abilities, and status alignments. You traverse through countless floors of huge dungeons awaiting enemies and treasure for you to find. At the end of every dungeon lies a boss, a shadow, that you must defeat. So overall, it's a pretty basic RPG.

What really hooks me onto not this game, but the series as a whole, is the setting, story, and characters.
Persona 4 is a game about solving a case of murders in your temporary home town of Inaba. As you make friends during your stay, they join in and want to help you solve the case. During in between events where you have time off, you're able to spend time with these friends and develop Social Links which boosts your Personas abilities more and more.

The characters in this game... you gotta love them. The cast of Persona 4 is so lively, it's hard to severely dislike any of them deep down (except Marie). They all have such unique and attention grabbing personalities which I can never take my eyes away from. These characters honestly make up the whole series. I wouldn't want any of them to change.

By the end of the game, depending on how you play it, the characters themselves seem like real friends. They stick by your side through thick and thin, and even when problems and drama arise, they are always willing to take a stand with you against any and all odds that come before you. While I watched the anime and the Persona 4 Arena story long ago when I first got hooked, I kind of went into this knowing the story and setting, but that's alright anyway. The game as a whole was amazing to experience. A masterpiece by Atlus, however you look at it.

It was worth the wait to save up money for a beefy computer that can run this game. I've poured more hours into it than most other platformers I've found here on Steam. This one takes the cake, dips it in chocolate, you accidentally drop the cake on the clean floor, and pick it back up again. The floor was clean, so it didn't get ruined.

I played the game on its Standard difficulty and I enjoyed every moment. The controls and bindings were easy to memorize and I adapted to it quickly. The game itself was very well polished, some bugs here and there like getting stuck in a stump, or even T-Posing.

I loved the abilities each hat gave you, and I'm glad the game doesn't always have you focused on one or two hats. I found myself using all the selections multiple times in different areas of the game as the game does prioritize the different hats.

The music is exactly what I expected. It fits the game so perfectly with all the different environments and hazards. My personal favorite bits of music were from Chapter 2.

The levels themselves were great for the most part, found myself always thinking "Where do I go next?" It never took me too long to find my way again. Quite a few parts where I yelled to myself, I died more to falling off cliffs than enemies.

The ending was sweet, I of course chose to give the girl a Time Piece. I loved all the different characters I met along the way and I smiled at the last cutscene of the game.

Best of all, the Steam Workshop more than keeps this game alive and it's super fun to explore new challenges created by the community.

A Hat in Time was exactly the right 3D adventure platformer I needed after a much too long time.

As a long time, if not, life time Sonic the Hedgehog fan, I am amazed at what Spark the Electric Jester turned out to be for me. I came looking for a cool, colorful, power packed indie adventure and that is exactly what I got from my purchase.

At first glance, Spark the Electric Jester appears to be some strange and unique fan made character from something that might be from the Sonic universe. That's what I thought it would be as well, but after picking it up and playing it, I was right. But I wasn't at the same time.

Spark's adventure starts when he loses his job to some weird robot version of himself because at this point in the games timeline, robots we're taking over everything. Eventually, they spin out of control and end up becoming the main enemies. Spark notices this and takes action by setting off to defeat the mastermind behind the robot invasion in the big attempt to get his job back.

The gameplay is smooth and easy to adapt too. You're basically playing a classic 2D Sonic game mixed with Nintendo's Kirbys powers. Level design is clean and was easy to navigate. I barely found any area in a level where I was stumped and couldn't find my way. The power ups were creative and unique. Throughout the many levels you dash through, you will find power ups/weapons concealed behind glass you can break to acquire the power up. There are a bunch of cool power ups like a fire swinging Hammer, dart throwing Edgy, charging Knight, crossbow Archer, and my personal favorite, Wind. You can only carry two at a time so it's important to strategize and pick wisely at which power ups you take, because once you drop one for another, it's gone. This will tie into the boss battles. Certain power ups are better for battling certain bosses, not by weakness, but by simply determining the bosses patterns. After analyzing the boss patterns, it was easy to make out an attack plan to beat the bosses.

The story was....meh. I caught up to it and I understood the situation going on around me. I kinda just stuck with it.

The final cutscene was very interesting indeed, but I also found it sort of out of place. When I played as Spark, I found his character quite unique, until he fires a giantass laser so dang large it could destroy a sun, and then his facial expression: this jester is no Goku. I found this completly out of the character I was playing as. Doesn't have much of a giant affect on my review, but I thought it would be an interesting detail.

The soundtrack is beautiful and I love listening to it in my spare time. The tracks fit the moods the game sets you in at just the right times.

Overall, I picked up the game expecting a viabrant, action-packed, adventure and that's exactly what I got. Spark the Electric Jester is a modern retro 2D side scroller that will not disappoint you if you are a Sonic fan or even a Kirby fan.

I literally clapped my hands with joy when the credits rolled for Marie's Room. I was lost in a story of both passion and regret and just amazed by the way the creators put it all together.

The gameplay itself is simple; find clues in a small room. But honestly, this game doesn't focus on gameplay at all. It's story is the mian focus and I was massively impacted by it.

I will not spoil the story and ending for anyone, so PLEASE, if you have a hour of your time and you need a nice, quick, story-focused game about a friendship, download this game and get lost in wonders and feelings

*SPOILERS*
I literally was in a rollercoaster of emotions when my character walked into Beacontown during the final cutscene of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2. If you stick around through the first game and finish off with this, you're bound to have a pretty strong connection with the characters and story in this awesome sequel.

Positives:
- Amazing story
- Great characters and great interactions
- Outstanding visuals and environments
- Tough TOUGH decision making points. Ones that will make you go "Ahhh I can't choose"
- Perfect ending(s), super emotional

Negatives:
- Combat system is improved but there are still some downsides. When attacking it appears to be delayed. Once you click the button, you won't attack till a second later.
- I can hear some recycled music from the previous game, and I would've liked to hear something new. At least...more new

Overall, I cannot NOT recommend this game for anyone who enjoys a well story, a ride full of emotions, and super tough decision making turns. It truly is a great way to end Minecraft: Story Mode

As someone who is very-much-so aware of the cringy crash that the Minecraft franchise has become of today and ever since 2014, I will say that this game did not disappoint me one bit and delivered exactly what I expected from a Telltale game.

I came straight from Tales of the Borderlands and after enjoying that ride, I decided to give Minecraft a try. I wasn't too much into the Batman or Guardians since they were based off of television series (I'm not really a TV guy) so I grabbed Minecraft.

Positives:
+ Great writing and a touching story
+ Amazing and outstanding artwork and visuals (you'll come across some neat places you'll never find in the actual Minecraft game)
+ Surprisingly great voice acting (Telltale tries to make sure they were at their best with this one)
+ Good characters, they all have their own personalities and keep them consistantly throughout the game
+ Choices are hard and will affect your friendships with the characters

Negatives:
- Too little combat (I found myself in about 4 fights with zombies and skeletons in the 4 first episodes)

Overall, this is a grab whether you're a Minecraft fan or not. Recommended

A little backstory: A long time ago, I found this game on Steam and I thought it looked pretty neat, but I wasn't willing to spend $15 on it at the time for pre order so I added it to my wish list. A year leater, it comes out and I recently got into the Mega Man X series. I didn't have any consoles and I was DYING to find a way to get in on the Mega Man X action without trying to tinker with emulators. Then I come back to my wishlist and I find that Nina looked very similar to X. I click it one more time, and I am amazed to find that 20XX is a Mega Man X parody. Best of all. I found it when it was 50% off. I grabbed it and the minute I hop into game, I thought "Worth it."

So yes, in case you havent seen any reviews for it yet, this is indeed a Mega Man X parody. You got your two characters: Nina (X) and Ace (Zero). Buster and Saber types. You got the bosses, the dashing, the wall jumps and pretty much most of the mechanics and elements in the Mega Man X series.

The game itself is viabrant, colorful, and has excellent character and area designs. There are 4 different types of levels, each with their own unique environmental hazards. They challenge you to play in different ways at certain times, forcing you to not always rely on one strategy. Just like Mega Man X (and Zero) however, the difficulty seems to carry over too. The way 20XX works has a randomly generated level system. When you start a run, the game chooses one of the 4 levels and randomly generates a level for you. The difficulty comes into mainly the environmental hazards as you progress through the levels. Around levels 4 and 5, I started getting fustrated over the what-I-thought-was-impossible level design. It's all about trial and error

The enemies were also pretty creative in design and placement. The level randomly places them in different locations so you can find any of them just about anywhere. Each level having their own unique enemies with some crossing over. While a lot of the enemies are hard to kill sometimes and challenge you to strategize, my least favorite enemy is the generic one. The easiest one to kill The Birds . These are abosultly fustrating of them all. The way they attack is by slowly approaching you. It isn't so bad in general as most of them die in one hit. But let's say you're in a tight position and a Freaking Bird comes down to you from directly above (out of your shooting/attack range). You can't attack it or you'll die to a hazard, but if you don't, it gets you anyway. Or maybe you're speedrunning the game and you bump into one while climbing a ladder-like part of the map and it forces you back to the start. I believe the FREAKING BIRDS do need some work on their positioning.

The bosses are generic and get harder as the levels progress, so you wont always see and fight the same way every time you pass one. For example If you fight Vile Vassage in level 1, you'll only deal with his generic attacks and enemies. Fight him in level 4 and he has cieling ice traps to limit your positions.

Unlike the Mega Man X series, this game has items called Augs which grant you different stat boosting or power granting abilities. You can find them in the main spawn room, in item boxes, or after defeating bosses.

The music is stellar and fits the games mood perfectly.

Overall, 20XX is essentially a tribute to the Mega Man X series which we have been dying for a sequel for a long time. If you want some new never-the-same Mega Man X and Zero action, I highly recommend this game to any hardcore Mega Man X fans while we wait for a sequel. You wont beat 20XX in less than 10 runs if you just got into the game, so expect great challenges coming from Batterystaple games in this masterpiece of work

Only played for a couple of hours and I am VERY sastified. I could not stop playing for quite a while. It's loads of fun if you try to ignore on how it may relate to other games. In my first 2 matches I was amazing getting lots of kills and few deaths so it's easy to adapt too if you get what kind of play style you like. While it is just like Overwatch which is just like Team Fortress 2, I can see MUCH inspiration from Overwatch coming into this game, which isn't a problem. Rather a concern.

Negatives:
- If you want other skins, weapons, or cosmetics, they require you to pay for crystals
- Finding a game is fast, but you wont ALWAYS find a match so easily
- The majority of the classes require you to PAY for them so stick with the given classes
