I've been playing it non-stop since this afternoon. This is the direction newer Final Fantasy need to go and not that travesty that FF16 is.

Great exploration and areas. Literally what I imagine when I played the original game when I was a kid with limited graphics.

The music is fantastic - they didn't try to change the original songs too much, they were great already in my opinion.

One of the things that I disliked about the original Final Fantasy games on the PS1 were the conversations you'd miss out on if you didn't have the right characters in your party - this game does away with that, thankfully. You still have to pick your party members that will be fighting with you, but you're still traveling alongside everyone while exploring the zone. I had Barret and Aerith on my party, but Tifa and Red were still around having conversations with everyone else.

If you love the original, you'll absolutely fall in love with this one.

One of the greatest games of all time.

The performance in this game has taken a nosedive. There is an annoying stutter just won't go away. I thought I was the only one experiencing the performance issues but from what I have seen online so far, I'm not the only one.

The game is fun but the stuttering makes it too annoying.

Not really a remake... more like a sequel to the original game.

Combat is trash and boring but I loved everything else about the game.

Fun little game, not much to it. Puzzles aren't difficult and the story is simple but entertaining enough. For a game that is not really that graphically intense it doesn't quite run at 60 FPS on the steam deck - average of 40 FPS.

Don't buy full price, it is not worth it. Lackluster...

Why the ♥♥♥♥ does a box need 120,000 triangles, my guy? No wonder this game runs like old people ♥♥♥♥.

Dark Souls (kinda) in space!

Definitely needs to be played in the highest difficulty setting, otherwise the game becomes a snooze fest after a few fights.

I was excited to play this game after the amount of hours I put into Dying Light 1, but this game does not feel right.

The zombies are too easy, even on hard mode. The music doesn't feel right - it doesn't fit. The world itself doesn't really make much sense. The exposition at the start of the game... the ♥♥♥♥. Night time doesn't even feel dangerous and it's too bright. Why are the ragdoll physics worse than Dying light 1?

Also, what's with forcing headbob and anti-aliasing? Why do I have to go a mess with files to remove that crap.

Don't pay to beta test this mess. Wait a year.

This game... my god. I don't know if I like it or not.

It's a great VR game for flying around but it's so repetitive. Tons of solar systems, way too many and they all offer nothing. Obviously not a terrible game since it's very popular but at the same time it feels empty.

Vast as an ocean, shallow as a puddle.

Excellent game! It's even better in VR!
