Delightful game overall, excellent art style, phenomenal storytelling, and pleasantly short. Would recommend to everyone.

I bought Ryse: Son of Rome on sale for about $5, and it's barely worth that in the hour I spent trying to play it.
Ryse is extremely repetitive in its gameplay, as the quick-time events have almost no variety between the two buttons you alternate in pressing to progress.
It's like a boring combination of Assassin's Creed and Shadow of Mordor, in the worst way possible (for as much as I love those two games)

I'm constantly impressed by the overwhelming replay value of Skyrim, even without mods (but I highly recommend modding your game to your liking)
This was my first and only Elder Scrolls game, and my first Bethesda, so maybe I'm a little biased, but hey.

Pros:
-Mods
-Replay value
-Freedom of gameplay

Cons:
-Slightly repetitive on occasion
