Game is really fun and the gameplay is engaging. Easily my favorite between this, Valorant, and Counter Strike. However, matchmaking/grouping is a bit weird. And having 4 generic (and I can't emphasize GENERIC enough) cookie cutter maps on launch for a modern PvP multiplayer game is unacceptable and honestly quite frustrating. And as a level designer myself I'd say they're best described as 'safe'.

Actual criticisms out of the way, getting mad/review bombing over optional cosmetics is ridiculously sad and childish. Just don't buy them, and your game experience will be unaffected. Servers gotta run somehow...

All in all, do give it a go have your fun while it lasts, because the player base won't remain if the release state is any indication, and I have a feeling it'll be shut down within the next year or so, sadly.

Combat is ridiculously high TTK and really boring/intuitive. Incredibly janky.

For what it is, there's really no way you can leave a negative review. There are absolutely flaws with this game, but its totally free. It costs you nothing but your time.

Really well put together. Had a bit of fun with a few buddies for a while. Super happy to play this again after the jam. Great job, guys!

Game is actually solid as ♥♥♥♥. Despite a few issues and some odd/flawed design decisions, this is a solid slow paced tactical shooter and it stands as a great example for what Steam Early Access games should be, flawed yet functional. Steam may have dropped the ball for these guys when they removed the Early Access tags on launch day, as many people seem to assume that this game is supposed to be a complete experience.

For those saying that there is nothing to do or that this isn't the most solid Day One launch of a survival title, I'm convinced you've never played a survival game before.

Honest Review:
This game is very much like the H1Z1 launch in the sense that you will constantly run into players. KOS is a very real common occurrence, just as it is in every single survival game in existence. Everything you need to know is all in the description of the game. Its a hardcore shooter first, survival second, meaning it isn't trying to be a roleplay game like any of the other main survival titles, this is something new. We have to remember that this is Day One as well, and content should be coming to the game over the next few months with additional feedback from Early Access reviews. If you like survival games, give this one a shot. It is easily one of the most fun survival experiences I've had in a long time.

Edit:
Game has come a long way, a lot of the issues present in the past are no longer issues. Worth a try, but still has a long way to go before it can go toe to toe with other survival titles like DayZ and Rust.
