Because of the inadequacy everyone feels, they are more susceptible to marketing agencies who use propaganda to knowingly trick the public into believing that purchasing their product is the answer to their woes. Feeling insecure, ashamed, fake, unfulfilled and now indebted and enslaved to unsatisfying jobs, people rebel against their confused dissatisfaction by aligning themselves with social justice, political extremists, political liers, and ideologies. They believe they are fighting for a better world, but subconsciously they are full of resentment and hate.

Universities shifted from institutions that encourage debate and opinion to places where individuals who propose alternative views and ideas are chastised, attacked, and ostracised. In response extremism, terrorism and mass shooting become more regular. Under the surface of a seeming "better and safer" world statistically, the stakes of nuclear war mean that the frustration and resentment secretly and not so secretly underlying the "reality tv style exaggerated positivity" cannot be ignored, but yet is ignored.

Crime is down, the world is safer, murder is down, poverty has been reduced, the rich are richer, the middle class has grown, but everyone is lost. Mental Health problems are so common that approx 50% of people in the western world take or have taken SSRI medication (that has no proven long-term scientific basis to help - read "Lost Connections by Johann Hari) Truth has become opinion, and not in the positive way Nietzsche portrayed. The public have a strong desire for change but cannot see that they are swimming in lies. The foreseeable predictable future has shrank to the point where no one can see where we are headed as a society.

Community has degraded even further than it was 20 years ago. People do not know or speak to the people they see every day. Online communities argue and spit hate to each other and seek confirmation of their views rather than seeking out alternative viewpoints so as to sharpen their opinions.

Nationalism has made a comeback. War has become "fun and heroic" again through media marketing and computer games. The term hero has become a dead slogan that is assigned for nothing to anybody who "serves".

Money from big business: The influence that the corporate money has on politics has beceme transparent to the point that the entire world economy collapses. The response of the political elite is to double down by creating money out of thin air to give to the people who corruptly caused the collapse, indebting the people of the world even further. Everyone can see this plainly yet no one can do anything.

Everyone is a hypocrite. Vegans wear leather. Billionaires are the self-proclaimed representatives of the poor. One of these billionaires becomes president based on this propaganda. Slavery is gone only in name as billions are trapped in economic slavery.

Institutions such as marriage and religion are failing. While this is in a lot of ways a good thing, the baby is getting thrown out with the bathwater as contraception fuelled casual sex degrades deep and meaningful connection and family life. Religious guidelines fleshed out over millennia are thrown away in favour of dangerous ideologies that are poorly understood. Communism is on the rise again despite the death tole of well over 100 million people it caused last century. It is disguised as identity politics.

Minorities cry racism while blindly, constantly and blatantly spouting racist opinions of their own. Race is easily shown to be cultural, yet people attach their identity to that of the oppressed so as to feel righteous. A darker skinned man who had a white grandfather claims to be "a black man" due to the melatonin content of his pigmentation. People reading this are so indoctrinated in their worldview that this plain truth will "trigger" their sense of identity and righteousness so quickly that they will brand this information as dangerous and racist asap. It is in fact an argument against all racism.

Tribalism is running rampant. Nationality, race, religion, ideologies, political affiliations, are deemed more important and more relevant than our shared humanity.

Individual creativity and freedom has been almost completely wiped out unless it can be constrained within certain socially acceptable boundaries due to the constraints of law and acceptable behaviour imposed by society.

Information is everywhere. We are bombarded by it. All the worlds knowledge is available to us at our fingertips, but it is outnumbered 10 to 1 by misinformation and opinion.

We are still animals who see themselves as gods. Unfortunately, we are apes who can speak, that also have access to nuclear weaponry. Our history is a history of violence.

Evil is viewed as external to each of us and branded upon wrongdoers to explain their behaviour, instead of each of us taking the difficult and uncomfortable look within ourselves to see our own capacity for evil.

The system has not solved the pareto distribution problem when it comes to the economy. The difficulty is that anyone who attempts to enact real meaningful change almost never rises to the top unless they also become financially successful (take Elon Musk or Bill Gates for example) This means that businessmen who work within the system are viewed as the ideal. These people are very unlikely to enact any change that would undermine their own position of power, which is extremely difficult to earn and so is extremely valuable. Great leaders of the past in the mould of Gandhi are nowhere to be seen in the present. We are exploring the cosmos with out technology, but we can't seem to envision a viable economic system that doesn't fall down due to reduced incentive. Equality of outcome leads to mass murder, mass corruption, and unspeakable acts. Equality of opportunity must be maintained but the people left behind by this economic system need to be better cared for.

In most western countries, even among the working or middle class, with both the female and male working full time in order to afford a private home, home ownership dreams are becoming increasingly impossible. Two well-paid people cannot afford a small home even if they save a deposit and pay into a mortgage for 30+ years.

This financial burden and the desire to not lose their money to "dead rent" means that nannies and babysitters increasingly are tasked with raising children who are not their own. Boys are increasingly raised from a female perspective and not from a positive male father figure (due to absentee fathers working longer and longer hours) Young men are confused as to what society wants from them. The term toxic masculinity has become well known. Equality has been replaced by feminism. Feminism claims to be for equal rights but yet almost never truly adopts this attitude. Women, in an effort to "free" themselves from their oppressed history, have encouraged each other to become more like men in all the worst ways. Instead of freeing themselves to live as they see fit, they shame those women who want to live traditionally - i.e. raise children.

Overall nothing makes sense, but we act like everything does
