A unique & interesting game that suffered a death by neglect.

Not only is Gedonia worth it on sale, Gedonia is worth your time.
Naturally , dont expect the height of quality, but if you keep your expectations reasonable, you may be very pleasantly surprised. I certainly was.

Plenty to explore and grind, plenty of npcs and quests, repeatables, rep to grind, cooking, crafting, blacksmithing, all that stuff. You get a mount early and if you enjoy exploration on your terms you will like it. Again, keep your expectations reasonable and you will be rewarded.


Also if you want a cant-miss way to enjoy the game, play as Bard, his guitar attack makes me laugh every time i use it, and the way you switch from battle song, to remorse song, to happy song, really feels like mocking your enemies in the most hilarious way, and it constantly makes me laugh. BWONGGGG!

The few hours I have in this game are memorable af. It is really a unique experience, and though i havent played in many years, if you have a chance to even try it, you should. it's really fun.

it's exactly enough content to cover 2 hours, so that you miss the refund window. After that, the game starts a new chapter, and you have reset your characters, reset their abilities, reset their modded buffs and you see the exact same maps with the exact same objectives, with the exact same 'click here to release the prisoner' in exactly the same spot... just cheap, and reuses the same stuff to try to pad out the game. why not just let us continue progressing?

making me re-earn all my abilities and buffs all over again every single chapter is just too much. this game is utter trash.


the fact that all these only come to light after the refund window makes me forget the positive things about this game, and remember only that it's a ripoff.

Fond memories of this one.

prologue was pretty bad, and the hand-holding "click here and there" tutorial did nothing to make me want to play a moment further.

This game sucks because it breaks the first rule of gaming - dont waste my time. take all my time, but wasting it bc you pack all of the gamble into the extraction , = bad game.

Had an absolute blast playing this game in 2023 about 30 hours. Modding scene is ACTIVE even today, new mods are still coming out, very very good overhaul mods which add tons of stuff.

From the very beginning, the difference between the good gaming era, and the modern one, are very apparent. It's just a great experience from the moment you load it up. You donthave to log in, you dont have stupid online nonesense, no stupid tutorial, just , enter game, and it's immediately fun & rewarding.

There's so, so much more game here that I look forward to.

This is not a response to the new game; if you have bought anything from EA in the last 10 years, i would say to hell with you, and I really mean it. That's nothing new.
