Isonzo is a medium paced tactical hardcore shooter, which strives for historic accuracy. That means few mgs and a lot of boltaction, artillery and dying. If you can cope with that, you will find that it is an incredible fun game. Just don´t expect that you can go in guns blazing, its not that type of game.


The maps are some of the best I have ever seen in a multiplayer fps. On just one map, u fight up a mountain, drive the enemy down from the mountain and over a bridge just to end in a little village. While there are some annoying artifical chockepoints and areas which are closed of for no apparent reason, they still play extremely well.
