If you loved Banjo-Kazooie, this game is a big love letter to it with lots of refs and parallels to the game series. The characters are also very funny and the music is awesome!

However, there are only 5 words to explore (6 if you include the hub world) and it's easy to get lost once you expand them. The camera controls could have been a bit better as well, especially when there is an abrupt change to a fixed camera in several areas of the game.

Even with it's issues, it's still a fun game but if you are unsure, then I suggest waiting until it's on sale to purchase it.

Great game if you like RPGs that like to mix it up a bit or if you're a fan of EarthBound. The multiple ending also give it a lot of replay value.

If I had to say anything negative about this game is the the sprites for the main character and the first area of the game is too simple compared to the later sections.

As a person who grew up on 3D Platformers like Super Mario 64 and Banjo-Kazooie, I had to look into this game, especially when I saw it was on sale and it did not disappoint. I loved the humor, the music was enjoyable to listen to and the fact that every characters had so many different thing to say made me just want to wander around and just listen to everyone.

The only issue I had with this game is that It would freeze or take forever to load when trying to enter one of the last stages in the game. Hopefully that can be fixed or it's just an issue for playing this game on a Windows 10 operating system.
