As an avid csgo player, I can assure you that this is worth it.
If you are good at csgo, you will destroy them after getting used to the playstyle.

Terrible game, community, and loot box mechanics.

Buy this when it's on sale. It's not worth the full price.

The single player campaign is quite a fresh approach with you playing as three main characters.

Story: 4/5
It's the cliche one last job story line of one man's mid life crisis.

Design: 5/5
Vehicles, clothes, npcs, and most of all world design. All of these things on such a massive scale really shows us why "triple A" open world games are only produced by massive studios. It is something people will use as a reference for years to come.

Mechanics: 4/5
Weapons are satisfying to use and vehicles are nice to operate. The most infuriating thing is just the sluggish character movements during combat. However, overall it is quite refined.

Online servers: 0/5
Servers are p2p. Yes. Hosted by one of the idiots in the session. Yes.
You can imagine the widespread latency and connection issues.
You waste at least 50% of your time finding/joining/re-joining sessions

Online Gameplay: 1/5
Grindfest. Heists and set ups will wipe constantly because someone has died/disconnected/quit. This prevents you from getting any cash at all to get to the better cash farming methods, which then prevents you from really enjoying the unlockable content.

Shark cards are priced at insane rates and the payout for heists is very low because the entire online gamemode is designed with a free to play model of monetisation. It's extremely hostile towards the player.

Oh did I mention?
THERE IS NO ANTI-CHEAT.
NO ANTI-CHEAT.
NONE.
So you will experience being teleported to a hacker and being killed over and over again.
Reporting them does nothing as Rockstar have never cared and never will.

Overall: 3/5
Amazing singleplayer, aggressively monetised online multiplayer. Don't buy it.
Rockstar and Take2 are malicious entities that do not deserve a single cent of your money.

This is a fast paced shooter which has mouse acceleration permanently on. Go figure.
Fov settings changes the fov, but, the viewmodel remains at the same distance. Headache inducing.

I don't know what I expected, but, it was definitely not something that doesn't even get the basics right.

This is a good run n' gun game with a suprisingly satisfying weapon upgrade system.
The graphics are decent and the game mechanics are very good.


10/10 can't ask for more from this game.

Though I would recommend you play with some friends to make it easier.

I got this game from a humble bundle after seeing its trailer.
Little did I know that I can't even ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ play the game because I am unable to connect to their servers.
And for some icing on the sh1t cake, I can't play it offline because I can't connect to the server hosted on my laptop.
Oh and this game gets stuck on the saves page, literally can't exit out into the main menu after it fails to connect to either my own or their servers.

I am running this on a 15" Macbook Pro. My laptop was already a waste of money and this game is somehow even more of a waste of money.

EDIT: Game now connects to the servers. Unfortunately, the menu becomes screwed up and only works about once every five tries.

Simply brilliant.

It runs decently even on my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ toaster of a 13" macbook pro from 2011. If I reduce the resolution slighty, I can even get a constant 60fps.

That being said, I do recommend playing this with a mouse.

The game looks decent at a glance but..

For a game that focuses on the mechanics, this game does not have it down properly. The movement of your character, the way the character attacks, the upgrade system, the way the shop functions, and how the "rpg" elements come into play, all feel wrong.
Nothing is smooth like you would expect it to be and the upgrades are locked behind a very boring grind. There is no satisfaction from killing the monsters, leveling up, spending stat points, or unlocking new skills.

Honestly, it is a waste of your money and time.

TL;DR: Just pirate it. It is not worth a cent of your money. There is nothing interesting in multiplayer mode.

Constant stuttering issues that can be fixed by installing a mod that unlocks the E3 graphics settings.
All support for the game has been stopped about 2 months from launch. This game has already been abandoned by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
I am sorely disappointed with the amount of performance issues this game has and how one person that doesn't work for ubisoft has managed to fix it within the month.
The game itself starts off well but nothing fun actually happens. Online mode has tons of bugs because of the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers. I'm sure there is a memory leak problem in the online decryption mode as well.

Either skip this game or pirate it.
