A true successor of Remnant: From the Ashes, the sequel delivers more action with interesting new worlds, variety of enemies and more unique boss fights.
Though lacking in story, ( even more than the first game ), Remnant 2 and its 3 DLCs delivers tough yet fun and enjoyable gameplay with difficult encounters and smart level puzzles that is worth the time.

Performance issues and the tedious grind for the 'Master Builder' achievement does hold a bit back from having an awesome experience I would have had playing Remnant 2.

Arise: a simple story is a very soothing and beautiful game where the journey is about an old man reliving his memories at the time of his death and recalling his memories with his childhood friend, lover and wife; and how they have lived with various ups and downs throughout their lives.
It's an emotional journey, and how every chapter is dedicated to an emotion that the old man had faced during that years of his life adds a very sweet touch to the game. The main mechanism of the game if time forward and reversing, where you have the control of how time flows and affects the environment around you and using it to solve puzzles. Its very fun and joyful when the puzzles vary wit h each level and how time impacts those of the surroundings as well as the old man's feeling itself.
I recommend this game to someone who wants a cozy, pleasing and peaceful game, and wants a simple yet loving tale of a friend, lover and husband and how him and his wife grow through the duration of the game.

“I’m now at Peace. Your Journey, Though, Has Just Begun”

Black Myth: Wukong is THE BEST game i have ever played till now. The narrative, the characters, the gameplay, the world design, everything is a deep appreciation to the epic tales of The Journey to the West, and the developer Game Science's take on the story of Sun Wukong on his path to attain freedom, breaking the shackles of the celestial court imposed on him, and to become the Victorious Fighting Buddha, aka the Monkey King.

This game was an adventure to say the least, to be in the hide of the Destined one, and to experience the tales that the Great Sage has lived through, following his footsteps.
The story is placed after the events of the Journey to the West, with the stories divided into six chapters, and each teaching us essential life lessons. We witness how many of the characters for the book are facing with emotional constraints: like greed, pride, lust, sorrow, loss, and many more; and how each chapter concludes with a very sweet and emotional music video made with different animation mediums to explore these emotional but moral teachings.

Every moment I spent in this game has made me a witness of how rich and beautifully designed a game could ever be. Every details, designs, art direction are at their finest; and the higher form of narrative that the game revolves around makes me appreciate it even more. It's really hard to believe this was actually one of the first AAA games from China.

Long story short, this game has become a very influential part of my life and have given me deep appreciation to the rich narrative stories and life lessons the tales from Journey to the West imparts on us.

There had been rumours of this being a part of the Black Myth trilogy; with one rumoured to be Black Myth: Jiang Ziya. So if the other one turns out to be Black Myth: Nezha, you can count me to be in the front of the line and my sincere support to the Game Science team.

One of the best puzzle games i have ever played with very interesting wormhole mechanism which utilised object physics like gravity, momentum, angular and motion trajectory of particles etc. and implements them seamlessly in a short, fun experience.

Portal is an amazing game which also serves as a great way to learn about basic physics.
Highly recommended.

With this, I have completed the Half-life series. And with it, I am left in awe, amazement, astonished and aghast with how such a fantastic game be made and how I slept on this gem of a series for so long.

Half-life is now one of the best story-based game I have ever played, with such an amazing world, such humane characters and such intriguing story that I played one after the other, from black mesa, HL2. Episode 1 and now episode 2. I am so thankful for my friends to kind of force me into playing it, as I would have missed such an amazing experience for my life.

As I sit, watching the credits, I am thankful and excited of how to story unfolds further, as a game like Half-life comes once in a lifetime; and everyone with an interest in the subject should play and experience it, just like I did.

Mid-tier system review:

Specs:

Processor- Intel Core i5 9400F @4.1 GHz
GPU- Nvidia Zotac RTX 2060 OC 6gb ddr6
Installed and ran on HDD

Performance:
Average: 77 fps
Maximum: 90 fps
Minimum: 64 fps

Display and graphics information-
Resolution- 1920 x 1080
Preset: High
Frame Gen: On
Super Resolution sampling: FSR
super resolution: 66

TL:DR- Didn't expect the benchmark to run this well, as i was thinking to go on a range of 40-50 fps average, given the game is made in UE5 and have so much detail.

My personal take-

the benchmark was mainly around a single location with few characters and mostly ambience drone shot. It didnt feature any of the combat of FX which somewhat pushes the frames and graphical process. It was on the lighter side of an exploration of an opening area.

Nonetheless, huge respect to the devs for giving a free tool for everyone to try and give an idea on how the game will run on everybody's system.

Very much excited for the review embargos to end and even more thrilled for the actual launch of Black Myth: Wukong.

A direct continuation from the ending of Half-life 2, episode 1 sets up to be the survival story of Gordon Freeman and Alyx as they run away from imminent destruction of city 17. Time is of the essence.

Super excited to start episode 2 and see how the story concludes.

Half-life 2 was a genre defining game, and it was clear the moment I started this after finishing black mesa, I knew that I was in for a very fun and exciting ride in the half-life world through the eyes of Gordon Freeman.

This game was ahead of its time, with its enticing gameplay and story; and only thing I feel after finishing this title is only appreciation to my friends who almost forced me to play the half-life series. The sheer variety of missions, the vehicular combat as well as the openness of each level really got me hooked to its short but really interesting levels. The story was interesting, though like black mesa, ends with a cliff-hanger ending for which I have to play episode 1 and 2.
But having such a great experience with Black mesa and half-life 2, I am really eager to start the next chapters of the story of Gordon Freeman and uncover the truth behind the mysterious G-man.

This is one of the games which I was told numerous times to play by my friends, to get in the half life franchise and immerse into it, and I always found a way to skip it every time.
Now, as I have finally completed it, I regret not starting it sooner. Oh boy does the game rules. The world building, the level design, the ambience all feels so good to play that I was awestruck that a game almost two decades old (talking about the setting of Half life which this game is remade from) was able to do, which games nowadays seldom does. I am really grateful that I finally finished this game (yes, I did 100% with the dreadful hidden hat and pizza box) and really eager to start the sequel: Half life 2.

Black mesa will be on of the games that no matter how old it gets, it still shines and radiates freshness and sheer joy when one plays it. Highly recommend it to the kids of the newer generations who prefer graphics over gameplay, and insist them to try this and blow their minds.

"Grand Covenant's Fourth Law: A Puppet Cannot Lie"

This is a game I will remember for a very long time, along with the legends like dark souls, Sekiro and Elden Ring. It's really hard to believe this was not a Fromsoftware game, but a new studio Neowiz and Round 8 studios. The combat, the creative aesthetics, the map design, the enemy variety and oh lord the difficulty; all are in the same page with me as any of the game Hidetaka Miyazaki made.

The story is based on a dark take on the classic tale of the wooden puppet Pinocchio, and his journey to gain humanity. The game also revolves on that theme, of what differentiate a puppet from a human, and what choices we do to distinguish between them. Do we choose to tell the bitter truth or a sweet lie, do we do the tough choice or show compassion, all revolves on two option: Do we tell the Truth or Lie?

This game's core narrative structure had deeply moved me, and I really appreciate the developer of creating such a beautiful and truly amazing game which will stay in my heart always.
Looking forward for a probable sequel to play as Dorothy from Wizards of Oz.
