melee mechanics are great, i enjoy this game a lot. wish there was a way to browse community levels or something to have a bit more stuff to do after you beat it aside from bettering your times. very cool though and i can't wait to see where it goes

This is already shaping up to be my favorite game of the year; I love turn-based AND fighting games, so this is perfect. The game is a bit confusing at first, but as you start to learn the ropes, it's extremely rewarding. Trying to get a full combo in single-player is a real challenge, and trying to properly mess people up online is an even greater challenge. Can't wait to see where this game goes competitively (if a scene ever pops up around this, I will participate). Only got one or two suggestions: some sort of quickplay function, and an ability to adjust the audio levels aside from them being binary. Quickplay would be great, since finding a match in a lobby system can be arduous. Love everything about this game, and absolutely worth the money.

The gameplay is amazing, I'm glad there's finally a modern Gundam online shooter, feel like that's something that's been missing for a long time. However, the worst part of this game is the economy. It's almost impossible to get characters if you're purely F2P, at best maybe two per season, which is already an issue, given there are 5 locked characters... costing $10 each, btw. The free characters are fine, but the locked ones seem to be a bit more powerful. It sucks that you can't even try them out in training to figure out which one of them you'd want to unlock first. Like I said, the gameplay itself is fine. Wish the maps made you feel a bit bigger, since it doesn't feel like you're in a giant mech suit. Wish there were some sort of limited time modes too, that way the gameplay would be a bit more laid-back than the purely objective-based modes.

I think you should at least give it a shot to see if you enjoy the mechanics, but don't feel like you're going to get an expansive roster out-the-gate. Prepare for some grinding if you want to get everything for free. Maybe hold off if you want them to fix the economy before playing, but if you enjoy FPS games with character abilities, then you should play a couple games of it. Just needs to fix its economy.

Lots of fun, feels like Halo. Good game all around, unless you hate long TTK. The length of TTK allows for more nuanced options in any given situation, I feel, so I enjoy it regardless. It's free, so why not give it a shot?

I can't believe I didn't play this sooner. The movement feels on par with the earlier Halo games, and the portal mechanic? Feels like second nature. Sure, you could argue that portals could feel cheap at times, but with the amount of fun I'm having, I don't care. It's free, and you should give it a shot, especially if you like arena shooters.

Early Access Review
♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the most addicting idle game I've ever played. A bit slow towards the beginning (naturally), but the mid-late game content is so well thought-out, it's shocking. The Discord server and subreddits are both phenomenal, the community's nice and helpful, so it's really hard to complain about the community being bad. The dev genuinely cares about this game and is updating it frequently, making the entire experience even better than previously thought possible.

100% a must-play for any Runescape player.

Bought the game on iOS first and have played a few hours of it, and only really bought this version to support the creator and to test out controllers. An insanely amazing concept that's perfect quick sessions. Pretty easy controls: left, right, and "action" button, I guess, since it's usually bound to jump when you're playing. Anyways, not a bad game to check out, especially if you like a lot of Devolver's other published works.
