Its a fun game but not a great Fallout game, 3 and New Vegas is much better. Bethesda has lost their ways tbh, the games just keep getting worse.
I bet people who havent played any FO game will like this one. Its big, has nice graphics, the gameplay is good but the writing and RPG elements could be better. After you finish it though give New Vegas a try, if you can stomach the dated graphics and gameplay you'll be treated to an amazing well written RPG with a great story

Yes its a lazy VR port that couldve been much better, but if you take some time to mod it and set everything up the experience is amazing, its so much better in VR and well worth the price if you grab it on sale.

Ive played almost 50 hours the last 2 weeks and havent had any issues. Id even go so far as to say this is one of the top 3 VR experiences you could have, and its a must have for those who enjoy story focused games.

Here are some of the most important mods for this game:

https://www.reddit.com/r/skyrimvr/comments/f88jb4/top_10_most_important_mods/

With the right mods you dont even have to open the menus and get a fully immersive experience, namely "VRIK" for holsters and gestures, "Spell Wheel" (not just for spells), "Dragonborn Speaks Naturally" for voice commands.

Also to make the game a lot sharper overwrite the file in SkyrimVR directory with this one. (backup the original first)

As for game settings i recommend turning off dynamic resolution, and turning on realistic archery. Also remember to adjust your height in the settings. If you got a good GPU increase the supersampling in SteamVR, or decrease it if you have bad performance.
And if you by chance have a RTX 3 serie GPU and experience stuttering, try closing all background programs, that helped me, it seems to be a driver issue.

Must have VR game for anyone who likes shooting. From the store page it looks like just a CS clone but theres a lot of different gamemodes with stuff like TTT, jail break, minecraft and zombies etc giving it some variety. Its a really well made game, the physics and handling of guns is amazing, its very well optimized and it looks great too. Even has warzone mode with like 50 players battling it out on both sides of a big open map. And most importantly it does have a lot of players. Highly recommed it

Edit: Im totally hooked

The good: Its a free software that can be an indication to how much excercise youve gotten.

The bad: The calorie count is too high, it says i burned 850 calories from 1 hour of Beat Saber. For comparison running hard for 1 hour burns about 600-800 calories for someone my weight. I dont even get tired from BS yet i burn more than if i was running which definitely tires me out? Dont think so

The heart rate monitor which is just guesswork is completely off, it thinks my HR is 120 when standing completely still and im not even overweight. Ive never even seen it below 110. Why even include it when its so off all the time? Besides your HR while playing depends on how fit you are, cant just use the same formula for everyone.

There are very few settings, its pretty much just moving the overlay, no changing how it looks or anything. And when you open the app it is refreshing very often giving you a buffering icon where you just have to wait, quite slow to refresh. Also if you disable YUR automatically starting, but then launch YUR from games list it always turns automatic start back on. And in the automatic start list, YUR is listed 3 times for some reason.

The devs actually reached out to me to try to figure out how they could improve it, and they did, it used to show the same amount of calories in a seated game (VTOL) as in Beat Saber which it no longer does, so they are improving it which is great.

Id give this neutral if i could, but for the reasons above its leaning more towards negative

Great simulation boxing game. Its hard, realistic and really exhausting, great for losing weight and building some upper body strength. I like that there's a ton of options to tune how fast your opponent punches, blocks, dodges etc. The price is very cheap for what you get, so i recommed buying it to try it out, be ready for a serious workout though, after a couple of matches your arms will ache and you'll be soaked with sweat. Be careful not to ruin the headset or controllers with sweat, that can actually happen.

If you have Samsung Odyssey+ like me it can lose tracking if you hold the gloves too close to your face, but its fine to play anyway, just hold them further down and not too close. Its pretty easy to block most punches with your arm too.

Moving around in this game is so satisfying, the jumping mechanic is the best ive seen in VR, though it requires some practice. And theres practically endless amounts of levels due to workshop, lots of fun playing with others. After trying over 100 VR titles this game still remains as one of my favorites. Also its very good excercise. Highly recommend it!

edit: I had 6.5 hrs when i wrote this, now i have over 80, so yeah i love it. Btw something i wish i knew sooner is to hold down menu button to respawn if you get stuck, its not in the tutorial.
There are others playing this game, i can usually find someone to play with most of the time. But if not its nice to put on a podcast or music and just climb. I also recommend changing out the default skybox, the milky way one is nice. And you should go online to pick up some tips and tricks like slopejumping, airgrabbing etc. Also join the Climbey discord if you play often.

Id say this is one of the best VR games there is, the port works great. The price is a bit steep if you own the flat version though, but well worth it anyway. Game looks amazing in VR, you really get a sense for how big everything is. And the controls are good. Something i miss is locking your height so you dont feel like a dwarf when you play seated, since it is a quite long game to be standing up.

Also, you can use the save file from the flat version of the game which is a huge plus

If you like music at all its a VR must have. Fair chance it will be your most played VR game. Note that you can add custom music and other mods, i didn't find the original songs that good. Very addictive
