Early Access Review
Pax Dei emerged with a compelling proposal, filling a much-needed gap in the MMO genre. Some players appreciate the concept of a large-scale game reminiscent of classics like Ultima Online or Star Wars Galaxies-PreCU, as well as more modern titles like Life is Feudal or the Mortal 1&2 saga.

It's essential to consider all aspects to evaluate this game. One must understand that Pax Dei is still in development. The developers have emphasized that they need funding and valuable feedback during this phase.

I was fortunate enough to participate in all the alpha tests and even joined the weekly preview event. It became clear to me what Pax Dei aims to achieve. In my opinion, this is a game that requires time and feedback from dedicated players.

Performance

I have not encountered any performance issues, as my system meets the requirements and even slightly exceeds them:
  • Intel 6700k
  • 3060ti
  • 16GB RAM
  • M2 SSD
I have personally limited the FPS to 50 using the NVIDIA control panel, with DLSS enabled at 1080p HD resolution.

PVE

Currently, the PVE content includes dungeons, environmental interactions, and, in my opinion, farming and crafting activities. These elements obviously need improvement over time. Additionally, the building aspect remains highly interesting and is essential for fostering community collaboration.

PVP

The PVP component consists of a region where full loot PVP is enabled. In the future, the developers plan to introduce alliances, which will add more depth and context to the PVP experience.
