(Ignore the time spent. It only took around 9-10 hours if that. Accidentally left it on while I slept)

Pros:

+ Amazing Story.
+ While the gameplay was simple, it was still able to be intense when the moments needed it. Key-bound commands became quicker the later you got into the game, and it made the game itself feel more intense (which helped the story a TON at some points). This also helped stop the game from being repetitive.
+ The music was wonderful. It helped with the game a lot, and while I was annoyed by the intro after the fifth segment, the music was still really good.
+ The art being reminiscent of the comic book made it feel authentic. The game would have been an entirely different experience if it wasn't for the art. The art helped.
+ The game kept on subtly reminding you that your choices within the game actually mattered. You went after x. You did y. You beat up z. etc. Made you feel like you really had an impact on the story a bit.
+ The character development was really nice. You got really strong emotional feelings towards most of the characters while you're playing through the game.
+ The voice acting was really good for the most part. Showed a lot of strong emotions.

Cons:

- It's short, and with how good this story is, you really wish it wasn't.
- Seeing the intro 5 times gets annoying by the 5th time (I'd say the same about the credits, but you can skip those).

Overall it's pretty much a 10/10. I'd recommend this game to anyone and everyone that asks for a story-rich game.

Serena is a wonderful game that is artistic within its own right.

The game is entirely played within the cabin, and the game is played by interacting with objects within the cabin itself via point and click. The point of the game is the story itself, so interacting with each object gives you parts of the story (make sure that you interact with each object multiple times, though!). As the story progresses, you are able to re-interact with objects to obtain more of the wonderful story. You're able to interact with each object through 3-4 phases, each one giving you completely different dialogue for each object. The end of the story was both expected and unexpected at the same time (more-so when you get further into the game).

The voice acting itself was alright. The sad emotions seemed lacking (which is important within a plot like this), but everything else was pretty solid. The music was good when it was there, and the silence also empowered the general eerie feel of the game.

The biggest thing with this game is that it makes you feel so mixed towards the character by the end. You spend so much time sympathizing with this character, feeling confused for him, understanding his rage, but then you become infuriated with him beyond belief. It's an emotional roller coaster in the simplest of forms, and it keeps you thinking for a while after you finish it.

For a free game, this is really solid. I'd pay a few bucks for it, honestly.
