I completed the game and realized I needed to replay everything because I burnt the mailbox at the start of the game.

I don't understand how to play this game, but I completed it anyway.

This stupid game has over 100 achievements... Right off the bat I knew I was going to waste my life playing it, and sinking tons of hours into it, unlocking virtual achievements, and then realizing my real life has zero achievements. I regret buying it. Now I can't stop playing.

Really fun chillax autochess game for roguelite lovers. The graphics are super nice and the stick legs are to die for!

If you bought this game looking for a HIGH ADRENALINE super fast paced game... Wrong game!! Check out Lethal League instead, that game is the BEST out there in terms of digital adrenaline. That said, while Dodgeball Academia is a game that is much slower and less speedy, it has its own charm. The whole thing has a weird Pokemon vibe complete with the main hero stealing Ash's cap, and running around a community battling others. (yes also by throwing balls out) And yes it still has some adrenaline fun going, but definitely not the same level as Lethal League. (once you play the other, you will understand)

I would highly recommend this game if you are looking for a nice slow paced story with its retro feel and the characters... that's what I'm in this for - the characters are excellent! You can tell the developers tried their best to focus on character development. Quite a number of the jokes are cringy, but it's all good in the long run. I find myself coming back to this game again and again, just to be part of this cute little world with sidequests and interesting rivalry build-ups. They even had some pretty interesting ideas like bringing back that nostalgia of Sonic games where you can mash a button to spin the dude and go faster and faster. And it fits the theme! A dodgeball game - a character rolling like a ball to go places!

The main downside is: YOU CAN'T REMAP YOUR CONTROLS!!! The Keyboard default makes the game more challenging than the final boss.

The only other downside to this game are the girls. Most of them FEEL and LOOK like they have balls (and I don't mean those balls they use on the court). I had no idea one of the professors was a FEMALE until almost 2 hours into the story... If you like Pokemon, and balls, and girls that are gender challenged, this game is superb for you! I know it is for me!!

When you buy this, you are not paying for the game. You are buying an entire community and a super active studio focused on keeping things fresh. I was blown away in just the first hour alone looking at the vast amount of content and replayability across the maps, the challenges, the customs, the unlockables etc.

As a TD lover, this game is literally the ultimate homage to the genre with plenty of variety and each 'tower' (they are represented as monkeys in this title) has 15 skills to unlock. There are literally more than 20 such towers in the game at this time... And to top them all off, they are categorized into 4 main groups which have another 20-30 unlockable skills each. Blown.

Lastly, the community is SUPER FRIENDLY! When I play matches together with others against the AI, I would mess up all the time and be the noobest partner. And yet they would never ever scold me or call me names. Then again it might be because there's no chat function.

They managed to turn an RTS into a clean digital tabletop boardgame! Each tile on the map is specific to a type that allows you to build its appropriate building for whatever resource. Almost everyone will play this game the same exact way fundamentally.

If you are still reading at this point, you are in the top 40% of gamers who actually research their games based on reviews and replays before spending precious coin. I salute you from one gamer to another.

The difference between the men and the boys lies in how one is able to push that Happiness mechanism further in order to generate more villagers, but yet still balance it with enough food and houses. And Happiness gets a penalty as you gain more of them!

The difference between the pro and the noob lies in which buildings you would choose to upgrade first as they all require a very limited resource called Stone (I know right) so you could either choose to upgrade your military buildings for an edge in combat, or in fishing where you gain more food, or in the Lore buildings to unlock more bonus Passives quickly. There's so many options, and every player can expect to find their own style. The one with the better decisions to suit the situation will win the game.

If you are still reading at this point, you are in the top 10% of hardcores! I salute you from one brain damaged gamer to another.

Multiplayer Fruit Ninja! Now we can ACTUALLY play with friends instead of just comparing a plain leaderboard. That classic just got a breath of fresh air, well done Halfbrick Studios! The place becomes like a theme park now with various areas featuring different mini games and the original games are all still there. And that hype music building up whenever you go on a streak will always get anyone excited and engaged. If you are considering this title because you already have Fruit Ninja 1, don't even compare. This is waaaaay better and totally worth your coins to buy again. They even implemented that replayability where you can unlock more aesthetics and cosmetics etc.

At the end of the day this is one of the most accessible VR titles out there, be it for solo play or when friends visit your place for a party. And at the end of every session, don't forget to feel that extreme guilt for having so much fun.... just cutting fruits... yeah I question my intellect too.

This game proves that edutainment games can be really fun!
Highly recommended for parents! Great educational value for kids: It teaches 2 very important life lessons in fun ways - Cheating gets you out of tough situations and bad people always win in the end.

I feel like a cat when I play this game. I never had to shake a mouse so much in my life.
