Tactical RPG with deck building.
+Well-written story and world
+Deckbuilding and dice customization offer a variety of ways to build your characters
-Animation is slow so you're constantly holding down the "speed up" button and that can often lead you to end a turn facing a character the wrong way, leaving them vulnerable to critical hits
-Grinding necessary in the back half of the game

Most levels are sidescrolling platformers and then conclude with a tower defense against several enemy waves.

+Engaging story and endearing characters
+Defense portions are satisfying thanks to a variety of towers and strategy options
-Difficulty falls off near the end due to strong enemies and limited aiming ability
-Two escort missions that are very frustrating

Highly recommend for any fans of the franchise or fans of co-op games. Its clear the devs are passionate fans. A good variety of classes and weapons but limited mission variety.

Simple and straight forward card game, solitaire-like rules with RPG abilities and stats. RNG can really screw you sometimes but overall if you like card games this is a quick and enjoyable one.

Game was fairly easy - you hear the lunch lady coming from far away because her dummy thicc cheeks clapping loud af. That said, it's still pretty intense and I'm really interested in learning more about the lore of the lunch lady universe

This game perfectly captures the spirit of Ace Combat. If you've never played Ace Combat, expect very fast and flashy dog fights and a storyline that makes you feel as if you're part of an international conflict. This is not a sim game, you will be firing dozens of missiles and taking several hits in a mission.

+I was very impressed by the voice acting and wingmen; I liked the WSO so much I found myself sticking with two seater aircraft even as newer single seaters became available for purchase. There are a good variety of mission types and environments and a decent number of aircraft to fly. The conquest mode, in which you complete random missions and buy new planes and wingmen, adds a huge amount of replayability and is a great addition.

-Checkpoints, or the ability to rearm/refit, during longer missions would be a good addition, as it can be frustrating to lose 30 minutes of progress. I also found that although there was a large variety of air to ground weapons most of them were not worth using. Finally, cycling targets could be frustrating at times, adding a cycle back button would help mitigate this.

If I could add one plane to this game it would be the F-5. Two features I would like to see added are the ability to interact with the mission briefing map and a post mission virtual/real playback, just like in Ace Combat.

This game makes you feel like cyborg John Wick. It's very satisfying to dash around and hit the reload sweet spot. There are a variety of stylistic weapons that are fun to experiment with and the classes are all quite unique. The gameplay goes from deliberate to frantic in a way that both makes you feel stronger but more challenged. However, I have noticed a tendency for hate speech to be casually shared and accepted both in game and on the official discord server, which is a shame.

You play as a chipmunk with a sword, capable of calling down whales and fish by consuming mushrooms you get from beating up flies. If that sounds funny to you its worth a play. It can be frustrating at times because enemies often charge you from off screen and a few levels have fall hazards that cost your entire life (and you can't gain more 1ups or continues).

Satisfying ARPG action, I would say it's most similar to Diablo 3. Each class has 4 skill trees and you'll get enough to points to about max out two and there are numerous unique items to play with so there are lots of build options. The campaign is not difficult but the action is continuous with numerous enemies on screen at a time - I turned the difficulty up to max by the halfway point but after beating it you can run random levels with higher difficulties for better loot, similar to D3 rifts. I did not notice any bugs or issues during my playthrough. No online multiplayer but the game is still very impressive and worth playing considering it was made by one person.
