would lose wife and kids again

you're going to be switching between horizons and this dlc quite a bit. as at least half of things you need to do? are broken in this dlc.

I've tried so hard to find more games like this.

Another British company taking money for something they haven't done.

I bought this. . then lost 122 hours of my life almost instantly.

They've done it. they've.. defeated CIG.

With the coming merge? it'd be pointless for anyone to join. What we're witnessing now is the dying breaths of a once great game.

Remember when Rust first migrated to a newer engine? yeah. . imagine that but worse.

Kenshi was built by a 1 man army. for almost a decade, The man worked a part time security job in the age of austerity, to fund this game from the ground up, "blood, sweat and tears" doesn't even come close. A small fanbase and a failed crowdfunding round gave him the rare opportunity of showing us what he was really made of.

Chris made a promise to finish this game and finish it well. That he did. through a combination of luck, skill and goodwill.

The Game

You begin your journey as a blank slate in all senses of the meaning. you aren't just nothing, you're really nothing. in fact, you're the most insignificant object within this vast 870km wasteland. there's no cutscene or fluff. Kenshi dumps you into the world. it's down to you to grow.

your first step will be orienteering and from there? the game will take you..

by the time you've figured out how to solve a problem, you will realize that you've learned a huge chunk of the game's mechanics. In Kenshi, everything rewards you. even getting your face turned into mush earns you a small reward. "what doesn't kill me, makes me stronger" - The Game

There are far too many ways to approach Kenshi for me to list to you here. you really do cut your own path. a thief? a soldier? a merchant? the choice really is yours.

This is the player agency you've been looking for.
